Piedmont Aviation Selects<br />
Quantum <strong>Control</strong> Aviation ERP Software<br />
SAN DIEGO, Calif., February 24, 2011 – Piedmont Aviation <strong>Component</strong> Services, a wholly-owned<br />
subsidiary of TAT Technologies and award-winning FAA/EASA Part 145 repair station based in<br />
Kernersville, N.C., recently selected <strong>Component</strong> <strong>Control</strong>’s Quantum <strong>Control</strong> aviation enterprise<br />
resource planning (ERP) software to streamline operations at multiple facilities. Billed as “one of the<br />
largest, most extensively equipped independent maintenance facilities in the world,” Piedmont<br />
Aviation will have up to 80 concurrent users on Quantum when the system goes live later this year.<br />
“We will be transferring hundreds of thousands of records to Quantum from our current AS400-based<br />
application, which was becoming antiquated,” said Ryan Corbean, Information Technology Manager<br />
for Piedmont Aviation. “Quantum’s robust capabilities will allow us to provide better customer service<br />
by giving customers more information on a more timely basis, decrease turnaround times, and<br />
achieve better pricing through increasingly efficient processes.”<br />
Quantum <strong>Control</strong> is an aviation-specific ERP platform combining MRO, Aircraft Services, Hangar<br />
Management, Inventory management, Accounting, E-commerce, Sales and Invoicing, and other<br />
business functions into one integrated software suite.<br />
