Art I, II, Ceramics and Studio Art
I. Classroom Supplies: At some point in the year you will need access to one or more of the following items.
Please check to see what items have been assigned for your class period. These items will be taken up and
distributed to the class as needed throughout the year.
Art I
1 st ,2 nd , 3 rd , & 7 th
• 2 new sponges
• 2 boxes plain Kleenex
• 1 roll masking tape (1/2 in-I inch)
• 1 Bottle of Liquid Soap - 8 oz
• 1 pkg 3 glue sticks
• 1 pkg Qt sized zip lock freezer bags
Art II & Studio Art
5 th & 6 th
• 2 boxes plain Kleenex
• 1 lb box of salt
• 1 bottle rubbing alcohol
• 1 lb paraffin wax
• 6 rolls clear packing tape
• 1 pkg Gallons size Zip Lock freezer bags.
Ceramics
5 th & 6 th Period
• 2 new sponges
• 1 box kitchen size trash bags
• 1 pkg,(of 4) plastic storage containers (1/2-1 cup sz)
• 1 pump bottle of hand lotion
• 1 bottle white vinegar
• 1 pkg Gallon size Zip Lock freezer bags.
Classroom Supplies due by Sept 8 th if possible. If there are any problems in getting these items, let me know so
we can work something out.
II. Personal Art Supplies: Each student should have his/her personal art supplies and a storage container to put
them in- I will refer to this as your Personal Art Kit. These items maybe need to be replaced throughout the
year. I will supply storage space in the room for these kits but hey remain the student's property.
Art I

• 1 pkg of 12 #2 Pencils (or enough to last the
year,
• Ticonderoga brand is best for art but any will
do-no mechanical pencils for art please.)
• 1 hand held pencil sharpener
• 1 box colored pencils
• 1 set Color Crayola Markers (broad tipped)
• 1 set Color Markers (thin tipped)
• 3 Black Sharpie Markers- Medium point
• 2 Black Sharpie Markers - Fine point
• 1 composition Notebook
• Blue or black ink pen to last the year
Art II & Studio Art
5 th & 6 th Period
• #2 Pencils (see art I note)
• 1 box of 12 or more good quality colored
pencils PRISMA colors if you can afford
them.
• 1 pkg Colored sharpie Markers
• Black Sharpie Markers in Med, Fine extra fine
point (2 of each)
• 2 Ebony Pencils
• 1 large Kneaded Eraser
• 1 pink pearl eraser
• 1 sketchbook (9 X 12 size~70-100pgs)
Art Fee: This money will be use to get specific art supplies that would be difficult for you to find.
This fee is due in September.
Art I : $10.00 for the year
Art II & Studio art: $15.00 for the year

Ceramics: 5 th & 6 th Periods: You will need a Plastic Storage Bin with a lid- 16 Qt size or 16" x 11"x 7"- I
have seen these at Wal-Mart or the dollar store for ~ $3.00.
Ceramics: 5 th & 6 th Period: $ 25.00 clay fee will cover the clay and glaze supplies needed this year.
It would be difficult for each of you to purchase the necessary clay and glazes from Armadillo Clay Company
in Austin because their location is so difficult to find. Therefore, it is easier to charge a yearly fee for the class
and purchase the clay and glazes all at one time.
Some students use more clay than others. I will reorder clay in Jan for those that want a fresh bag of clay.
The cost for a new bag of clay will be $10.00. There will be clay here to recycle if students would rather not pay
an addition fee in Jan- it just take some extra work on part of the student to get the clay ready.
Fee Due A.S.A.P.-no later than Sept. 9 th .

dates. Although I am a teacher here in the district, I am also a parent of two children who attend school here
and I know first hand that these supply cost can add up quickly. I do understand and will work with you in every

PRE-AP MATH CLASSES
• TI-84 (or Equivalent) A limited number of calculators are available in the library for check out on a first come,
first served basis.
AP CALCULUS
• Students will be issued a TI-89 calculator for the entire school year and must turn it in at the end of the year.
