We can create any type of door imaginable.
Our custom doors are available in a wide
selection of thicknesses, ranging from 1 3 /8"
to 3".
We manufacture a variety of sizes and shapes
for all doors and moldings. In addition, you can
select either a bronze or aluminum saddle for
your custom-made door, as well as hardware
from the top manufacturers in the world.
Weather stripping is an important issue.
We are constantly testing and upgrading
different types and their application to provide
you with the best energy seal possible.

landmark preservation requirements.
HARDWARE
We offer a complete line of solid brass
locks and trim in a variety of finishes.
GLAZING
Our range is broad:

WOOD
Honduran Mahogany, Poplar, Cherry, Oak, Walnut, Ash, Teak and all other fine hardwoods.
SIZES
Doors, transoms and mouldings can be manufactured to any shape and size.
CONSTRUCTION
Stiles and rails are assembled using cope and stick construction with 1 /2" x 5" hardwood dowels.
Exterior type 1 glue is used and set under pressure for superior strength and durability.
MOLDINGS
Interior and exterior moldings can be chosen from many standard profiles or made to your own
custom design and specifications.
Architectural Specifications
STILES
Laminated construction is used with 5 /16" resawn hardwood for exterior doors, 3 /16" plain sawn hardwood
veneer for interior doors, laminated to a Eastern White Pine Stave Core for exterior, and S.C.L.
core for interior with solid hardwood matching edges.
RAILS
Solid lumber is used for all doors.
PANELS
Solid stock with 1 /8" banding is used for 1 3 /4" doors. For 2 1 /2" doors, a three ply panel is used, consisting
of two hardwood laminations bonded to an inner low density core.
PROFILES
We offer three standard profiles, but we can create unlimited custom profiles.
SHAPED JAMBS
Our jambs are laminated, not bandsawn from solid stock.
DOOR UNIT
The combination of our two-member jamb, weather stripping and interlocking saddle assures you a
precision fit and total energy seal.

French doors are made to your specifications. European five-point locking system is available.

All products manufactured by Artistic Doors
and Windows (except those expressly
excluded from the warranty) are warranted
to be of the highest quality material and
workmanship at the time of shipment, and
to be free of defects which would render
said products unserviceable or unfit for their
intended, ordinary, recommended use. Warranty
on door warpage will be as per A.W.I. Standard
#1300-T3.

The period of warranty coverage extends from
the date of shipment through one year.
Artistic reserves the right to make product
improvement changes in product specifications,
materials and construction details.
Exclusions from the warranty are defined
in the manufacturer’s complete warranty
certificate, which may be obtained by request.
Shop drawings are prepared on the premises
for all projects. Artistic’s drafting department
works in close contact with all customers and
architects to make certain all drawings are
fully understood and approved before starting
project production.
