Summer Sunday School for Adults
All Adults are invited to attend the summer series,
The Six Marks of a Disciple, beginning June 23 in the
Fellowship Hall.
If you are not currently a member of a Sunday School
class, or have gotten out of the habit of coming
regularly, this summer would be a great time to start
again! Dr. Bill Seel and Rev. Christie Gravely will be
teaching from a book called The Disciple Making
Church and helping us discover the true marks of a
disciple.
Vacation Bible School
VBS begins June 9 at 5:00 p.m.!!! All are welcome!
Come one, come all to the Everywhere Fun Fair! It is
not too late to register, so go online today (www.
easleypresbyterian.org) and register for a week full of
fun learning what it means to truly be a good neighbor!
Don’t miss out on this fun week. There are classes for all
ages (nursery through 5th grade).
If you are looking for another way to be involved, there
are several mission opportunities during the week of
VBS that all youth and adults are invited to participate
in. We have three very special mission opportunities to
consider:
• Samaritan Health Clinic: The clinic is practicing
being a good neighbor to those in need right here
in Easley. We will help to ease their burdens by
collecting items that they use every day.
Bring the following items the week of VBS:
Sunday: paper lunch bags
Monday: pencils
Tuesday: post-it notes
Wednesday: Kleenex
Thursday: glue sticks
Other items that are being collected in
the glass hallway during the month of June:
highlighters, pens, postage stamps, toilet paper,
antibacterial soap, Ziploc bags (quart and gallon size),
spiral notebooks, and copy paper
• Adult Service Projects: Habitat Build–If you are 16
years or older, meet in the Fellowship Hall at 6:00
p.m. each night to travel to the Habitat site to help
with some projects there. There will be a few other
projects around the church during the week of VBS
if construction is not your gift!
• Ten Thousand Villages: Support our neighbors
around the world by shopping each night at the Ten
Thousand Villages shop. All proceeds go directly
back into the hands of those who make each item.
This is a hit each year at VBS! Get a jump on your
Christmas shopping now!
