Preface The Casino Gas Field Development requires approval under the Commonwealth Petroleum (Submerged Lands) Act 1967, the Victorian Petroleum (Submerged Lands) Act 1982 and the Victorian Pipelines Act 1967. This Environment Report (ER) has been lodged in support of an application for a Pipeline Permit under the Victorian Pipelines Act 1967. Telephone: 08-8224 7894 Opportunity for Public Comment on the ER The ER provides a basis for the public to comment on the proposal, the environmental impacts and proposed mitigation measures. Public submissions will be considered by the Department of Primary Industries (DPI) in accordance with the Victorian Pipelines Act 1967. Lodging a Submission In your submission, you will need to: • Identify the proposal on which you are commenting and provide your name and address. • Where relevant, identify any special interest you have in the proposal. • If you are commenting on specific text within the ER, mention the section number and heading used in the ER.
