Components<br />

Division Pedestal: TRF WC - 001 / TRF WC - 020<br />

The adjustable Divider Pedestal fixes to the divider<br />

panel with a Connector Bolt which is included.<br />

Fixings to the floor are not supplied, please check floor<br />

substrate and use suitable plug fixings.<br />

Note:<br />

WC - 001 to suit 1/2" (12.5 mm) <strong>Phenolic</strong> Panel<br />

WC - 020 to suit 3/4" (18 mm) <strong>Phenolic</strong> Panel<br />

Divider U - Bracket: WC - 002<br />

The Divider U - Bracket is used to fix the cubicle<br />

divider to the centre pilaster, return end pilaster and, if<br />

using <strong>Ambienta</strong> Facade Wall Panels, to the Module B<br />

Vertical Post / or wall.<br />

Fixings incorporated included 1 no. Connector<br />

Bolt (WC - 008) when fixing through the cubicle<br />

divider, and 2 no. Multi Purpose Screws<br />

WC - 009) when f ixing to the centre pilaster.<br />

When fixing to the <strong>Ambienta</strong> Vertical Post fix<br />

through to the substrate behind. Wall fixings are not<br />

included.<br />

Components<br />

End Pilaster L - Bracket: WC - 003<br />

The L - Bracket is used to secure the wall end<br />

pilaster to the <strong>Ambienta</strong> Facade wall lining panel,<br />

between walls in the cubicle area.<br />

Fixings incorporated included:<br />

- 1 no. Connector Bolt (WC - 008)<br />

- 1 no. Brass Insert (WC - 012)<br />

- 2 no. Multi Purpose Screws (WC - 009)<br />

Cubicle Door Coat Hook: WC - 004<br />

The Coat Hook is fixed to the rear face of all standard<br />

and ambulant cubicle doors.<br />

It has an integrated buffer that conceals the fixing<br />

point. This screws into a Brass Insert that is pre-fit into<br />

the cubicle doors.<br />

Components<br />

Cubicle Head Rail: TRF WC - 005<br />

The Cubicle Head Rail (<strong>HR1</strong>) is supplied in 10' (3 m) lengths.<br />

This is fixed to the top edge of all wall end, return end<br />

and centre pilaster’s, using the Multi Purpose Screw<br />

(WC - 009), 2 no. per centre pilaster.<br />

Ensure that the cut end of the required length is<br />

positioned at the wall end of the cubicle module.<br />

Cubicle Door Hinge: WC - 006<br />

The cubicle door hinge is supplied as a pack of 3<br />

hinges suitable for 1 no. cubicle door, standard or<br />

ambulant.<br />

The pack contains 2 no. floating hinge’s and 1 no. rise<br />

and fall hinge.<br />

The hinge packs are handed to suit the door hanging<br />

and 1 no. hinge is pre set with a 15 degree opening<br />

angle (Top Hinge).<br />

The hinges are fixed using the hinge screws<br />

(WC - 011) 4 no. per hinge, 12 no. per hinge pack.<br />

Components<br />

Cubicle Door Lock & Keep: WC - 007<br />

The Cubicle Door Lock contains a rotary indicator<br />

latch, which is operated by a rotating handle, that in the<br />

closed position locks the cubicle.<br />

The external face of the locking mechanism is<br />

equipped with a vacant / engaged indicator, and<br />

emergency release fixing.<br />

Fixings for the lock are incorporated within the<br />

product. The Keep requires the Keep Fixing Screw .<br />

Asian Cubicle Division Channel: WC - 014<br />

The Asian Cubicle Channel is supplied as a two part<br />

set, to include two channel lengths, 400 and 1700 mm.<br />

The channel is cut, drilled and fixed to the floor on site<br />

with fixings supplied by others. A suitable mastic<br />

sealant is applied prior to the cubicle division<br />

positioned to suit.<br />

Excess sealant is removed, leaving a hygienic, clean<br />

finished edge.<br />

Preparation<br />

2.1 In - Line Cubicle <strong>Installation</strong> Preparation<br />

Before installing <strong>Ambienta</strong> - In Line Cubicles please consider the following:<br />

- Ensure that the <strong>Ambienta</strong> Facade Wall Lining System has been installed correctly and that all relevant vertical flash gap<br />

details are / have been achieved.<br />

- Review the restroom drawing package to ensure that the distance between walls / panels is correct.<br />

- Identify that all components match the Bill of Materials (BOM) for the cubicle module type and check component<br />

quantities.<br />

- The scribing of cubicle panels should not be a requirement. If there is a requirement, the end pilasters can be scribed on<br />

site and the exposed panel edges must be chamfered and finished.<br />

- Suitable fixings have been considered to suit the wall / floor substrate and environment.<br />

- All the necessary PPE gear has been issued and all health and safety checks have been made.<br />

3.2 U - Bracket Fixing Detail<br />

Locate the pre - machined holes on the <strong>Ambienta</strong> Facade Module B Vertical Post or wall. Ensure that the Flash Gap Strip has been<br />

attached first. Fix the U - Brackets to the Vertical Post. There are 4 no. U - Brackets required per Module B Upright where a cubicle<br />

or urinal division is positioned.<br />

1. Place U - Bracket (WC - 002) onto the Module B Vertical Post, over the flash gap strip.<br />

2. Fix U - Bracket to Vertical Post using fixings supplied by others, fixing through to the substrate<br />

3.3 Cubicle Pedestal<br />

Fix the adjustable Pedestal 250 mm set in from the front face of all cubicle modules and 150 mm in from the front edge of the urinal<br />

division.<br />

1. Unscrew and remove the pedestal body<br />

2. Lift off cover rose to expose fixing holes on the pedestal base<br />

3. Place pedestal base in desired position and mark holes<br />

4. Drill pilot holes into the floor, check floor substrate prior to drilling<br />

5. Fix foot base to the floor using suitable plugs and fixings (supplied by others)<br />

6. Cover the pedestal base with cover rose and screw pedestal body back into place<br />

7. Adjust pedestal to required height<br />

Insert cubicle / urinal divider panel into the pedestal and slide up against the Module B Vertical Post with the U - Brackets fixed in<br />

place. Fix the divider to the pedestal and then to the U - Brackets.<br />

1. Place divider onto Pedestal (WC - 001 shown)<br />

2. Mark hole positions on the divider<br />

3. Drill 9.5 mm dia through hole<br />

4. Use Connecting Bolt supplied with Pedestal to fix the division<br />

5. Fix with allen key (supplied by others)<br />

6. Repeat process when fitting division to the U - Brackets<br />

All centre pilasters are handed with pre - drilled hinge and U - Bracket holes. Fix the centre pilaster (standard / ambulant) to the<br />

cubicle divider using the U - Brackets, Multi Purpose Screws and Connector Bolts.<br />

1. Fix U - Brackets (WC - 002) to centre pilaster using 2 no. Multi Purpose Screws (WC - 009)<br />

2. Place the centre pilaster into position with the cubicle divider and mark hole for the Connector Bolt (WC - 008)<br />

3. Drill 9.5 mm through hole<br />

4. Use an allen key (supplied by others) to fix the Connecting Bolt<br />

3.6 L - Bracket Fixing Detail<br />

Fix the L - Brackets to the wall end panels/ wall ensuring that all brackets align with the U - Brackets on the cubicle divider.<br />

1. Mark hole positions for 4 no. L - Brackets (WC - 003) onto the wall end panel /wall<br />

2. Drill 2 no. 3.5 mm dia, 10 mm deep holes (countersink 2 mm) for each L - Bracket<br />

3. Fix each L - Bracket to the wall end panel /wall using 2 no. Multi Purpose Screws (WC - 009)<br />

The L - Bracket is then used to fix the wall end pilaster to the wall end panel or wall.<br />

1. Position the wall end pilaster against the wall end panel or wall with the previously fixed L - Brackets (WC - 003)<br />

2. Mark hole positions on the wall end pilaster<br />

3. Drill an 8.2 mm dia, 9.5 mm deep hole (counterbore 9.5 mm dia, 1 mm deep) per L - Bracket. Insert the Brass Insert<br />

(10 - V02) into the drilled holes<br />

4. Use an allen key (supplied by others) to fix the Connecting Bolt (WC - 008) in place<br />

3.8 Asian Cubicle Division Channel Fixing Detail<br />

Asian Cubicle Division Channel is cut from set lengths on-site to suit, drilled and then fixed to the floor. The division is then positioned<br />

and fixed in place.<br />

1. Cut the Division Channel to length<br />

2. Mitre end parts with a 45 degree mitre where applicable<br />

3. Drill fixing holes in the Division Channel and floor (use suitable fixings supplied by others)<br />

4. Apply a mastic sealant to the internal face of the channel and position Asian division to suit<br />

5. Remove excess sealant<br />

Fix the Head Rail (<strong>HR1</strong>) onto all pilasters using the ‘V’ groove as the centre line when drilling. Always ensure that the cut face of the<br />

Head Rail is positioned against the wall or where 2 lengths meet. All joints must fall between the centre of the centre pilasters.<br />

1. Measure distance between wall panels, or between wall panel and return end division (x)<br />

2. Cut Head Rail (WC - 005) to required length<br />

3. Mark hole positions to drill on top face of Head Rail, ensure 2 no. fixing points per centre pilaster<br />

4. Drill 5 mm dia through holes (countersink 3 mm)<br />

5. Fit using Multi Purpose Screw (WC - 009)<br />

3.10 Door Hinge Fixing Details<br />

The Door Hinges are handed and are fixed to both the pilaster and door. The Door Hinges are supplied in packs of 3, please note that<br />

the top hinge is set to a 15 degree opening. Ensure care is taken when handling these and do not attempt to disassemble.<br />

1. Fit the top Door Hinge (WC - 006) to the Door. Use 2 no. Hinge Screws (WC - 011)<br />

2. Repeat for the remaining 2 no. hinges<br />

3. Fit the hinged door to the end / centre pilaster. Use 2 no. Hinge Screws (WC - 011) per hinge<br />

The Cubicle Lock (WC - 007) is made up of multiple components which allow you to fix from both sides of the door. Please note the<br />

red indicator must be lined up with the bolt locked position.<br />

1. Attached the indicator turning thread to the back base plate, align through the door with the front base plate, fix with screws<br />

2. Push the back and front cover plates into position<br />

3. Insert the indicator bolt into the back cover plate<br />

4. Use the grub screw to fit the indicator bolt into the required position<br />

1. Mark position of indicator keep on the inside face of the pilaster<br />

2. Drill 2.5 mm dia hole 15 mm deep<br />

3. Use the Keep Fixing Screw (WC - 013) to fix the indicator bolt to the centre / end pilaster<br />
