What are the Initial Investments?

General Information

The Pilot Plant - 7 millions US$

The energy produced has not been calculated yet, as

we are dealing with the prototype in construction

It has started to be built at March 2009, the deadline goal

is to have it working in 3 years from that (2012);

At the end of December (2010) when assembly will be

concluded, it will start to be adjusted to generate energy.

How will this energy be distributed?

At the beginning it will have the mission addressed to illuminate

the Harbor Area, nevertheless, it is planned to expand and be

connected to the energy distribution grid

Designed with a multifunctional purpose –

special device system of high pressure (reverse

osmoses)in order to also be used to desalinize

water.

The Project was designed with a modularity

strategy in order to be upgradable.

The current full scale prototype has:

27 x 25 meters.

Designed to generate 1000kW (1MW), at

Ceará, it will be approximately 27 x 150 m
