Homeless International is the only UK charity with a global reach that is

Head of Investment Assurance

Responsible for mapping end to end business

processes across the globe, you will play a leading

role in establishing robust checks and balances

to ensure that donations and funding reach

the projects and communities that they

should.

You will have excellent project

management skills and a great eye for

detail. You will enjoy trouble shooting,

finding solutions and be pro-active in

Head of Funds

Circa 50k, Coventry

You will be responsible for making vital

investment decisions in managing our fund

portfolio. The portfolio supports housing

projects across the globe and is set to grow

substantially over the next few years. There

is also the opportunity to develop and

market new funding products.

With a background in treasury and

investment management, from the

commercial, public or charitable sector;

you will have lots of enthusiasm and

an appetite to learn. This is a unique

opportunity to play a vital role in promoting

us as an effective investment partner.

Community housing provider seeks an interim Director to effectively manage financial and

administrative operations.

You will have excellent leadership skills, will have operated at FD level in a housing association and be

able to demonstrate an appreciation of the issues facing HA’s of a similar size. Treasury management

along with experience managing a loan portfolio and raising finance will be essential. Those with

knowledge of issuing bonds will be of particular interest.

1958 of 85 social rent apartments for retired people of

limited means from the local area.

Situated in Merrow which is near Guildford in Surrey this very

attractive Estate comprises of 11 apartments in a converted

Grade 2 listed Manor House with blocks of 4/6/8 apartments

within the grounds and 2 members of staff.

The post of Trustee or Board Member is voluntary and

unremunerated. The Board meets approximately 6 times a

year and the management of the Estate is carried out by a

local Housing Association.

The Board of Trustees is currently looking into developing

more units within the Estate and so this is an exciting time to

join what is a very friendly and well thought of charitable

Tenant Service Research Worker

£15,470 12 month fixed term contract*

Runcorn, Cheshire

We are looking to recruit a person who has a mature approach towards tenants who believe

they have not received a very good service from their housing service provider or contractor.

The person should be able to interpret an individual’s dissatisfaction with potential solutions,

in a report that will assist the provider to improve the service delivery they provide, thereby

eliminating further dissatisfaction with that particular service.

Key Duties and Responsibilities








Speaking to tenants (usually on the telephone) to sensitively discuss their issues

Demonstrating empathy with the tenant

Listening effectively to their issues to ascertain the important points of the

conversation

Interpret the complaints in to reportable format

Production of reports which reflect a true and accurate response of the tenant

Analyse responses

Produce recommendation based on analysis

Person Specification






Excellent communication and listening skills

Excellent telephone manner

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office

Ability to work individually and also under instruction

Flexible approach to working

Housing has long been a complex business:

constant changes in legislation, guidance,

funding. It’s now more challenging than

ever – welfare reform, low

development grant, regulatory

changes, commercial competition,

value for money demands. Plus housing

demand up, supply down and

affordability a major obstacle. Which way

should housing providers turn?

At Campbell Tickell, we believe it’s time for a shift. We support calls

for providers to set their own agenda, rather than dance to tunes

played by others. That’s where The 3% Challenge comes in.

The Challenge calls on providers to increase their housing stock by 3%

a year – much more than current output. We know many can manage

this. We also know some can’t – lack of financial capacity or local

housing demand, or a focus on balancing higher output with

increased employment or other community support. We’re not

suggesting ‘one size for all’. But we are saying this is a time to be

creative and stretch to do more for communities.
