to limit damage to the natural
environment.
grade. These grades are then added
together to give you your final results:
pass, merit, or distinction.
What skills and interests do
I need beforehand to be a
course?
You need an interest in the world
practical work, visits to local sites, field
work, guest speakers and research
using books and the internet.
1:1 support is available to all students.
What do students say about
this course?
prepared and equipped for all lessons.
Are there any other
qualifications which combine
particularly well with this one?
The course will combine well with
BTEC Level 3 Applied Medical Science
for those who would wish to pursue
wholly vocational courses. AS/A Level
in Geography, Maths and Statistics also
combine well.
What do people do with
Environmental Sustainability
BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary
Diploma?
The course has been designed to
prepare students to either enter the
workplace in an environmental career,
or to go onto higher education or further
training.
Is there a similar qualification
to this one? If so how do I
choose between them?
AS/A Levels in Geography and Applied
Science BTEC Level 3 have some
similarities but this BTEC will suit you if
you prefer coursework to exams, with
an emphasis on practical work and field
