Half Day Rental<br />
May include a ceremony, cocktail h<strong>our</strong>, short reception, extra time for getting ready and taking photos. You decide how to<br />
use y<strong>our</strong> time. All set up and clean up needs must be completed within these slots.<br />
Full Day Rental<br />
May include a ceremony, cocktail h<strong>our</strong>, a longer reception, extra time for getting ready and taking photos and geared<br />
towards parties with more complicated set ups. All set up and clean up needs must be completed within these slots.<br />

25% Discount for Friday and Sunday Rentals (excludes Sunday of Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day weekend).<br />
50% Discount for Monday through Thursday Rentals.<br />
Off Peak Season (November-April)<br />
50% Discount off of Peak Season Pricing.<br />

Rules & Regulations:<br />
Rental fees may include the use of <strong>our</strong> tables, chairs, screen,<br />
podium, microphone and use of the house and grounds for<br />
photography.<br />
Pianos at both museums may be rented at a flat rate of $100.<br />
Set up of events must be pre-approved by CAVT staff at least 2<br />
weeks prior to event.<br />
Seasonal flowers, water features, art exhibitions, & garden tram<br />
cannot be guaranteed to be available or functioning at all times.<br />
Rehearsals may be scheduled 30 days prior to <strong>wedding</strong> when<br />
balance has been paid in full. Fridays are not guaranteed.<br />
<strong>Museum</strong> staff members are not to handle or set up any rented<br />
or personal items brought in such as flower arrangements,<br />
sound systems, guest books, party favors, programs, food,<br />
beverages, payment to other vendors, etc.<br />
Bottled water is the only carry-in allowed. All other carry-ins will<br />
be confiscated. Food and beverages may still be provided by<br />
one of <strong>our</strong> licensed approved caterers.<br />
Loud music by a band or disc jockey must end by 10:30 p.m.<br />
as a c<strong>our</strong>tesy to <strong>our</strong> neighbors.<br />

What do the rental fees include?<br />
You receive the use of the facility, photography and<br />
the option to entertain outdoors. Also includes<br />
room rental, option for a docent-led t<strong>our</strong> of the<br />
home or garden and initial set up and use of tables<br />
and chairs. Event staff is also provided to ensure<br />
y<strong>our</strong> event runs smoothly.<br />
Is parking provided ?<br />
Located in an urban neighborhood with street<br />
parking. Please ask the Events Manager for parking<br />
options. Valet parking may be arranged.<br />
Am I required to use a caterer from y<strong>our</strong><br />

approved caterers list ?<br />
Yes, the museums are delicate facilities and each<br />
caterer understands the particular rules and limitations. They also have liability insurance on file. We have a very extensive list<br />
of some of the best caterers in the city and we trust that any one of them will make y<strong>our</strong> event a memorable one. See list below.<br />
What are y<strong>our</strong> beverage service policies ?<br />
Our exclusive bar service is provided by Zilli Hospitality Group. All alcohol must be contracted through Zilli Hospitality Group.<br />
Can I have my event in the Renaissance Garden ?<br />
We invite you to use the garden for y<strong>our</strong> photos. Please inquire about rates and restrictions.<br />
Will you hold a date for me?<br />
Due to the high volume of requests for dates that we get, we cannot put dates on hold for y<strong>our</strong> <strong>wedding</strong> or event. A date is<br />
confirmed with a signed contract and a deposit.<br />
