Take A Bath!
SheaWoman began in the kitchens of Bristow, VA as a
health and wellness project for our family. Upon her return
from Ghana, our sister Kiara introduced the family to Shea
Butter and - we loved it! Shea has all the qualities we value
- organic, natural, moisturizing, vitamin rich and good for
our skin regardless of our differing skin types. Of course we
quickly used up the bit Kiara brought us and our search for
After a thorough education in Shea, and a relentless search,
we found a small woman’s cooperative in Ghana that produces
perfectly beautiful Ivory Shea. We decided to bring this
beautiful butter home to our community and so began the
Recipes, recipes, recipes! After lots of trial and error, and lots
of raw materials wasted, we finally arrived at formulas that
we could be proud of as we offered them to our customers.
Reasonably long shelf life (18 months) was achieved without
having to use chemicals and the remakable versatility of Shea
Butter allowed the use of high quality oils and boutanicals.
We make nearly everything from Shea! Soaps,
Lotions, Body Butters, Lip Balms, Bath
Bombs, and Hair Conditioners. We continue to
work out of our Bristow, VA kitchen, where we
produce all of the products for our store in the
Potomac Mills Mall.
We are thankful and blessed for each and everyone of you our
customers. Our commitment is to serve you well, with high
quality affordable luxury that are all natural, and promote
health and well-being. BE WELL!
▶ You’ll need at least an hour.
▶ Collect your fluffy towels and something to wear when you get
out of the bath
▶ Get some of your favorite music to play.
▶ Gather up your bathing luxuries - bath bombs, bath oils, bubble
baths, bath salts and bath milks, and arrange some candles in the
bathroom for a soft relaxing light and a nice comfortable glow.
IMPORTANT: Take a quick, warm shower. Use a Loofah to
exfoliate and a wonderfully scented bar of our soap. Remember,
the shower is for cleansing, the bath is for relaxing.
▶After your shower, start your bath water, adding your bubble
bath, oil, salts, milk or bomb.
IMPORTANT: The water temperature should be comfortable
- not too hot.
▶ While the tub fills, grab your oil, and rub a thin layer all over
▶ Start your music and light your candles.
▶ Once filled, position your pillow (a pillow is a must have!) on
the tub, and slowly slip into the waiting water. Lay back, and
Relax! Soak until your heart's content.
▶ When your bath is finished, dab yourself dry, rub shea body
butter all over, slip into your jammies and climb into the bed.
There must be quite a few things that a hot bath
won't cure, but I don't know any of them...

shea butter is a creamy-colored fatty substance
made from the nuts of karite nut trees that
grow wild in the savannah regions of West
and East Africa. While shea butter has a wide
variety of applications, it is most well known for its

shea Butter contains vitamins and minerals
such as vitamins A and E, as well as essential
fatty acids. It has a creamy color and a very
distinct smell. It has been used for centuries
for its moisturizing, anti-inflammatory and antiaging
shea butter has the ability to soothe, hydrate and
balance your skin. It is used as a moisturizer for
dry skin and eczema, as a dry scalp treatment,
for chapped lips and to help soften cracked dry
skin on heels, elbows and knees.
shea butter is truly an all-natural gift of God,
born of nutrient rich soils, hot sun, and the
tireless labor of sturdy, determined women.
Every SheaWoman product is handcrafted and 100% natural and
chemical/preservative free. We produce our products in small
batches to ensure consistency and freshness. And our oils, butters,
clays, salts and waxes are of the highest quality in the market today.
Your skin is much more than an
outer surface for the world to see.
Skin is the largest organ of the
body and performs many functions.
It helps us sense our surroundings
and protects you from
bacteria, dirt and other foreign
objects, including ultraviolet radiation
and pathogens. It contains
the nerve endings that let you
know if something is hot or cold, soft or hard, sharp or dull. Your
skin also plays an important role in regulating your body's fluids
and temperature and synthesizes the Sun's Vitamin D.
Your Skin operates very much like the tongue, absorbing everything
that it comes into contact with. This is why our overall health
and well-being is so dependent upon good skin care. SheaWoman
simplifies skin health by simplifying your skin care regime - Natural
Soap, Shea Butter, and Essential Oils - that's it! With SheaWoman,
you can rest assured that ONLY the highest quality ingredients,
that are pure, all natural, nutritious will ever touch your precious
The simple act of becoming relaxed can have surprising health

stress and tension, deep relaxation, if practiced regularly,
can strengthen the immune system and produce a host of other
medically valuable physiological changes.
