David Arthur is Managing Partner,

company. His previous experience

includes Cadillac Fairview,

Cambridge Leaseholds, Coscan and

Gentra.

Peter Ballon is responsible for

CPPIB’s real estate in the Americas

which currently encompasses

investments in Canada, the U.S.,

Mexico and Brazil.

Prior to his current role, Peter led

the investment teams for the U.S.

and Brazil. Peter is also a member

of CPPIB’s Real Estate Investment

Committee which has oversight for

CPPIB’s global real estate

investments.

Peter has over 20 years of

commercial real estate experience.

Prior to joining CPPIB in 2007, Peter

worked with several leading real

estate companies including

Canderel, Brookfield and

TrizecHahn.

Jeffrey Barclay is responsible for the

Real Estate Investment Group

(REIG) within the Investment

Management Division, which invests

in core, core plus and value added

real estate assets in the U.S. on

behalf of Goldman Sachs Asset

Management and Private Wealth

Management clients. He has over

25 years of real estate investing

experience. Jeffrey joined Goldman

Sachs as a managing director in

2010.

Prior to joining the firm, Jeffrey was

responsible for leading real estate

investment activity, including both

direct investments and joint

ventures, throughout the U.S. for

Clarion Partners Group.

Prior to joining Clarion in 1993,

Jeffrey was a partner at Hamilton

Securities, a Washington, DC-based

investment bank. He is Chairman of

the Board of Directors of the

National Association of Real Estate

Investment Managers (NAREIM),

chairman of the IOPC Gold Council

of the Urban Land Institute (ULI),

and member of the board of the

Simon Barrowcliff has specialized in

international investment at CBRE for

over 20 years. Simon is an

Executive Director and Board

Member of the CBRE Central

London Business Team,

specializing in International

Investment, in particular advising on

cross boarder strategy and

transactions for both European and

North America clients in both of

these regions, predominantly

focusing on Institutional clients.

Over the last 18 years, Simon has

been involved in major transactions

ranging from single asset sales and

portfolios through to speculative

funding opportunities on properties

throughout those regions, including

the purchase and sale of major

assets in North America, Russia,

Continental Europe and the U.K.

Chris Blanchard joined Presima in

2007; he is a portfolio manager

focusing on emerging markets real

estate securities. Chris is

responsible for analysis, financial

modeling and for investment

decisions in these markets as well

as portfolio construction.

Chris joined the financial industry in

1999 in a role within Cordiant

Capital, where he managed an

emerging market portfolio. He

subsequently took on a role as

director of Capital Markets Group

with CBRE in Montreal.

Meka Brunel is Executive Vice

President, Europe of Ivanhoé

Cambridge. In this capacity, she is

responsible for supervising all real

estate activities in Europe and

overseeing the European advisory

services team operating out of

Paris, where she is based. She is

also in charge of maximizing the

performance of the European

investment portfolio.

Meka brings some 30 years of

experience in the real estate

industry to the table. Before joining

Ivanhoé Cambridge, she occupied

various positions covering the entire

real estate gamut with such

corporations as Simco, Gecina and,

most recently, Eurosic as CEO.

Meka is an administrator of FSIF,

Chairman of ORIE, a member of the

Governing Council of the RICS and

a Director of the Board of the Crédit

Foncier de France.

Robert Byron, as Managing

Principal and founder of Blue Vista,

Robert has over 30 years of real

experience and has completed over

Michael Catford is Vice President,

Real Estate for the Healthcare of

Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP).

HOOPP is the principal pension

provider to healthcare sector

employees in Ontario, has 253,000

members and total assets of

approximately $45.3 billion

(30/09/12).

Michael is also President of HOOPP

Realty Inc., the Plan’s principal real

estate holding company. In these

capacities, Michael and his

colleagues are responsible for the

acquisition, disposition, portfolio

management and selected asset

management of all direct and

indirect real estate investments

made by HOOPP. The portfolio

comprises office, industrial, retail

and multi-residential properties in all

major Canadian markets. It also has

an active development program

comprising industrial, office and

retail properties across Canada.

Internationally, HOOPP has

invested in the U.K., Europe and the

USA through a combination of

funds, co-investment and direct

investment strategies.

Nicholas Cheffings is the Global

Chair of Hogan Lovells, which is one

of the largest law firms in the world

with offices in Europe, the U.S.,

Latin America and Asia. The firm

has over 2,300 lawyers operating

out of more than 40 offices. Real

estate is a core practice area of the

firm.

Nicholas specializes in real estate

and is based in London. He has a

number of client relationship roles

for investors, developers and

occupiers in the real estate market.

He is the client relationship partner

for Heathcare of Ontario Pension

Plan and, with Dion Panambalana,

handled their landmark joint venture

with The Crown Estate for the

Gateway site in Piccadilly, London.

Nicholas has 30 years of experience

in the real estate industry across all

sectors. He is described in all of the

U.K. real estate directories as "a

leader in his field". He is one of the

very few lawyers worldwide to have

been made an Honorary Member of

the Royal Institution of Chartered

Simon Fairchild is the Managing

Director of IPD North America and is

responsible for IPD’s services in

both the U.S. and Canada.

Prior to becoming the Managing

Director of North America, Simon

was the Director of the U.K. Portfolio

Analysis Service and having had

particular responsibility for global

clients and technical development,

he has also been responsible for the

development of IPD's benchmarking

services in South Africa and Ireland.

Simon is also a director of IPD and

joined the company in 1988 from a

background in asset management

with a major U.K. bank.

Jim Fetgatter is Chief Executive of

the Association of Foreign Investors

in Real Estate (AFIRE), a position

he has held since 1992. AFIRE is a

not-for-profit association formed in

1988 whose members are foreign

institutions who have a common

interest in international real estate

investing. AFIRE members have

approximately $1 trillion in real

estate investments worldwide. He

has guided the growth of the

association from a small group of

Dutch pension funds to an

organization of over 190 investors

from 21 countries.

Prior to his appointment as Chief

Executive, Jim spent 15 years in

various aspects of the real estate

industry. His last two positions prior

to joining AFIRE were with Dutch

and U.K. investment and

development companies.

Marc-André Flageole joined

Presima in 2006. He is a portfolio

manager focusing on Asia-Pacific

real estate securities. Marc-André is

mainly responsible for the analysis

and financial modeling of real estate

companies in these markets as well

as for portfolio construction. He

travels extensively to the Asian

region and maintains regular

contacts with senior management

teams from Australia, Hong Kong,

Singapore and Japan.

Marc-André also worked as a risk

manager at Caisse de Dépôt et

Placement du Québec and lectured

for several years in Portfolio

Management for HEC Montreal and

for CFA Montreal.

Sylvain Fortier is the appointed

President, Residential at Ivanhoé

Cambridge, the real estate

subsidiary of the Caisse de dépôt et

placement du Québec. Sylvain is

responsible for developing the new

multi-residential division. His role

includes investments and asset

management for this asset class,

and he also serves as a member of

the Executive Committee and

Investment Committee of the

company. Most recently, Sylvain

was Vice President, Advisory and

Real Estate Strategy for La Caisse

de dépôt et placement du Québec,

Real Estate Group, until its

consolidation with Ivanhoé

Cambridge. Prior roles at Caisse

included Vice President, Asset

Management for several portfolios,

including U.S. office portfolio, and

hotels, multi-residential funds

organization in 2004, Sylvain held

Insurance companies in Canada,

Standard Life and London Life,

where he had a combined 18 years

Felipe Fulcher is the President &

Partner of 5R Shopping Centers,

Brazil. Together with the Rossi

family, a traditional Brazilian Real

Estate developer, they created 5R

Shopping Centres in 2010.

Prior to his return to Brazil in 2008,

Felipe also worked at Sonae Sierra

Europe for 8 years and continued to

stay with Sonae Sierra Brazil until

2010. Prior to this, Felipe worked at

Jordan Industries from 1999 until

2001.

Felipe has developed 10 malls in

Europe and Brazil.

Jane Gavan is the President & CEO

of Dundee International REIT and

has over 20 years of experience in

the real estate industry. She is

responsible for executing corporate

strategy and for all major corporate,

financing and real estate

transactions.

Prior to becoming Dundee

International REIT’s CEO, Jane

managed a team overseeing the

renewable energy platform. Jane

previously served as senior legal

counsel to Oxford Properties Group

Inc., and was in private legal

practice at one of Canada’s largest

Jonathan Gitlin has been with

RioCan since 2005. He joined

RioCan as Director, Investments

and took over as Vice President,

Investments in November, 2007. He

is currently Senior Vice President,

Investments. In his role, Jonathan

oversees RioCan’s acquisitions,

dispositions and joint venture

activities in both Canada and the

U.S. For 6 years prior to joining

RioCan, Jonathan practiced real

estate law at the Toronto offices of

McCarthy, Tetrault LLP.

RioCan is Canada’s largest real

estate investment trust with a total

capitalization of approximately $12

billion. It owns and manages

Canada’s largest portfolio of

shopping centres with ownership

interests in a portfolio of 296 retail

properties, including 10 under

development, containing an

aggregate of over 66 million square

feet. RioCan owns an 80% interest

in 31 grocery anchored and new

format retail centres in the U.S.

through various joint venture

arrangements.

Paul Gleeson is Executive Vice

President, Development for Ivanhoé

Cambridge, one of the ten largest

real estate companies in the world

with assets in excess of $30 billion

in 20 countries. Paul is responsible

for overseeing the company’s retail

and office development activities.

He is responsible for introducing the

innovative Mills concept to Canada

and has played a key role in

bringing major development projects

to fruition including Vaughan Mills,

Ontario and CrossIron Mills, Alberta.

During his 25 years with the

company, Paul has overseen the

completion of over $3.5 billion in

development projects. He currently

oversees an approved development

pipeline of approximately $2.5

billion. Paul has worked on projects

in the U.S., Spain, Germany, Brazil

and Scotland.

Jacques Gordon is the Global

Strategist for LaSalle Investment

Management (LIM), a global real

estate money manager with $47

billion in assets under management.

He is responsible for the macro

strategy and micro research used to

guide all investment decisions in 30

countries.

Jacques serves on the Management

and Investment Committees of LIM

and directs the investment strategy

group, which analyzes capital

markets, regional economies and

property markets. LIM is a whollyowned

Jonathan Hull is a Managing

Karin Koks is Head of Global

Aberdeen’s Amsterdam office. Karin

Chris Lawrence joined Bentall

Kennedy in 2004 and relocated to

China in 2007 as Chief Investment

Officer and Executive Vice

President of Bentall Balloch China,

where he was responsible for the

ventures with Chinese developers in

mainland China. Upon his return

from China in 2010, Chris assumed

the role of Executive Vice President,

Investment Management, working

with various sources of domestic

and off-shore capital, pairing them

with appropriate Bentall Kennedy

investment opportunities in Canada

and the U.S. Prior to Bentall

Kennedy, Chris held various senior

management positions at Morguard,

Jay Marling, CEO, Managing

Principal, and Founder of Capright,

has been active in the real estate

industry since 1993. Prior to the

forming of Capright in 2007, Jay

served as a Principal at Walden-

Marling, Inc., an entity he cofounded

in 1999. To date, Jay has

personally completed or supervised

valuation assignments

encompassing more than 5,000

properties in 32 U.S. States and

the District of Columbia. These

assignments, involving all types of

commercial real estate, have been

Jon Milward is the U.K. firm’s Head

of Real Estate Development. He

has 25 years of experience working

as a planning and development

adviser in London, U.K. and

international markets. Leading a

team of 30 surveyors, Jon advises

on all aspects of the process from

initial feasibility/strategy through

deal execution, procurement, asset

enhancement and exit/sale.

Jon enjoys a diverse client base

including property companies,

sovereign wealth funds, major

corporates and landowners in public

and private sectors. Recent major

projects include £959 million sale of

Chelsea Barracks, London to Qatari

Diar, and advising the London

Legacy Development Corporation

on legacy residential schemes on

Brad Olsen has been active in the

Cary, North Carolina and helps his

Dion Panambalana is a partner in

Corrado Russo is the Managing

Director, Global Head of Securities

at Timbercreek Asset Management

where he is responsible for

managing the Global Real Estate

Securities platform including the

Timbercreek Global Real Estate

Fund. Corrado has an extensive

background in the investment

management field, having held

positions in portfolio management,

equity research and direct real

estate investments. Prior to joining

Timbercreek, Corrado was an

Executive Director and portfolio

manager of global real estate

securities at Forum Securities Ltd.

(2009-2011), a portfolio manager of

global real estate securities for Citi

Property Investors (2005-2009), a

portfolio manager of general

equities and income funds for

Empire Life Financial (2004-2005),

an analyst of real estate securities

and general equities at Investors

Group (2001-2004) and an assistant

portfolio manager of direct real

estate for Ontario Teachers’

Pension Plan Board (1997-2001).

Corrado was Chairman of the Board

of Trustees of Timbercreek Real

Estate Investment Trust for six

years until its sale in 2010.

John Saunders is Chief Executive

Officer – Asia. In this role, John is

responsible for the management of

MGPA’s Asia Pacific operations, as

well as the oversight of the day to

day operations of the MGPA Asia

Fund II and MGPA Asia Fund III

portfolios. John has nearly 27 years

of experience in the property

industry, the last 19 years of which

have been in Asia.

Prior to joining MGPA, John worked

for Credit Lyonnais Securities

running their regional property

research effort, as well as being

instrumental in the start of their

property fund on which he served as

an investment committee member.

John is a member of the Royal

Institution of Chartered Surveyors

(RICS) and the Hong Kong Institute

of Surveyors.

Jeffrey Scott is focused on

executing institutional private debt

and equity transactions for both

public and private real estate

companies. Jeffrey’s activities

include underwriting and distributing

bridge equity, executing

commingled equity fund raises and

joint ventures and executing merger

and acquisitions.

Transactions led by Jeffrey while at

Wachovia include the $6.6 billion

acquisition of Peter Cooper

Village/Stuyvesant Town in New

York City, the $1.1 billion acquisition

of the Westfield office portfolio in

Arlington, VA, joint ventures on

behalf of BRE Properties, UDR,

AIMCO, Colonial, Lexington

Corporate Properties Trust and

Federal Realty Trust and M&A

transactions for CenterPoint,

Heritage Realty Trust, Arden Realty

Trust, CRT Property Trust,

Columbia Property Trust and

Government Property Trust. Over

his career, Jeffrey has completed in

excess of $46 billion of transactions.

Claude Sirois

Claude Sirois was appointed

Executive Vice President,

Commercial Investment and

Emerging Markets, at Ivanhoé

Cambridge in July 2012. He

previously served as Senior Vice

President, Emerging Markets since

2011 and Vice President,

Investments since 2005. Currently,

Claude oversees the

implementation of the Company’s

emerging markets investment

strategies.

Claude has over 20 years of

experience in real estate and began

his career at Ivanhoé in 1990 as a

Leasing Representative. He was

promoted to Leasing Manager and

continued on as Director,

Development and was then named

General Manager of Galeries Rive

Nord in Repentigny. In 1997, Claude

left the company to join BMO, where

he was named Real Estate

Manager, Quebec and Atlantic

Regions. From 2002 until 2004, he

was appointed Head of Human

Resources, Quebec Division, at

BMO Financial Group. Claude is the

ICSC’s Quebec Provincial Director

since May 2011.

Ulrich Steinmetz

Ulrich Steinmetz is Managing

Director of RREEF Investment

GmbH since 2008 and is

responsible for the fund

management / portfolio

management of the open ended real

estate funds "grundbesitz europa"

and "grundbesitz global“. With 20

years of professional experience in

Real Estate, Ulrich began working

for RREEF Real Estate in 2002,

where he was responsible for

acquisitions and dispositions of

properties in Asia/Pacific, Canada,

U.S., Latin America and Great

Britain.

In 2006, Ulrich was appointed to

Managing Director of RREEF

Investment GmbH responsible for

the transaction and asset

management division Germany,

Austria and Switzerland. From 1997

to 2002, he was globally active in

the field of asset management,

acquisitions and dispositions for

Deka Immobilien Investment. From

1992 to 1997, he was responsible

as fund manager for closed ended

funds with properties in the U.S. and

Portugal.

John Stinson

John Stinson, based in Singapore,

is responsible for the Cushman &

Wakefield Capital Markets Group in

Asia Pacific. Capital markets

includes investment advisory in the

sale and purchase of direct real

estate across all sectors, asset

management, investor services and

third party capital raising in the

indirect markets. The C & W Asia

Pacific Capital Markets platform,

under John’s leadership, comprises

of 91 professionals operating in 32

cities in 15 countries. John has over

25 years of industry experience

working with investors, funds and

property companies in Asia Pacific

and globally. He has been involved

in some of the largest deals in the

region in office, retail and hotel

transactions and has represented

Asian based investors on

acquisitions in Europe, London and

North America.

The C & W Asia Pacific Capital

Markets Group have been

responsible for many of the largest

transactions in the region in the last

12 months, executing more than

$3.3 billion USD in capital markets

transactions across the region in

2011.
