Baxters V8 Supercar Promo Competition Conditions of Entry
1. Information regarding prizes and how to enter forms part of these conditions. By entering,
entrants accept these conditions.
2. Entry is open only to Baxters Pty Ltd Australian account customers only except directors,
management and employees (and the immediate families of directors, management and
employees) of the Promoter or of the agencies or companies associated with this competition.
Entrants must be 18 years of age or older.
3. The competition begins on 01/04/2010 and ends at close of business on 30/04/2010
(Competition Period).
4. To enter, customers must, during the competition period, purchase a V8 Supercar promo1
pack on a single invoice valued at $990 Inc GST to receive an entry into the competition. Pack
value RRP of $2667.50 Inc GST. All eligible invoices will be automatically entered into the
draw.
5. Customers may enter as many times as they like, provided that each entry is based on a
separate purchase as described in paragraph 4. Baxters accepts no responsibility for any
late, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed or illegible entries, claims or correspondence
whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, theft, destruction or otherwise, including
failure of any Baxters employee to correctly invoice sold products to their customers.
6. The draw will be conducted at 10:00am (AEST) on 03/05/2010 at Baxters Pty Ltd, 10 Kingston
Park Court, Knoxfield VIC 3180. In this draw, 1 major prize will be awarded via a random draw
of eligible invoices. The customer named on the first valid entry randomly drawn (from all
entries received) will win the prize. The prize is valued at up to RRP$3,550 (inc GST).
7. Customer prize: The prize is valued at up to RRP$3,550 (inc GST), includes delivery to the
winners nearest major capital city and consists of 2 tickets to the customers choice of the
following events; subject to availability of the tickets. In the event of the chosen prize being
unavailable a second choice will be offered.

8. All other costs associated with taking a prize, including but not limited to any additional
transport costs, taxes, insurance and other ancillary costs are the responsibility of the
winner.
9. The prize winners must, at the promoters request, participate in all promotional activity (such
as publicity and photography) surrounding the winning of any prize, free of charge, and they
consent to the Promoter using their name and image in promotional material.
10.The Promoter will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or
consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is
suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection
with this competition or accepting or using any prize, except for any liability which cannot be
excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
11.Without limiting the previous paragraph, the promoter will not be liable for any damage or
delay in transportation of the prize.
12.The winner will be notified by telephone and in writing. The winner will also have their
business name and state/territory of residence published in The Australian on 07/05/2010. By
entering this competition, each entrant requests that his or her full address not be published.
13.If the winning entry is deemed not to comply with these conditions of entry, the entry will be
discarded and a new winner of that prize will be determined by drawing a further valid entry
in accordance with paragraph 6.
14.The promoter may, in its sole discretion, disqualify all entries from, and prohibit further
participation in this competition by, any person who tampers with or benefits from any
tampering with the entry process or with the operation of the competition or acts in violation
of these conditions, acts in a disruptive manner or acts with the intent to annoy, abuse,
threaten or harass any other person.
15.Prizes are not exchangeable or transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. In the event
for any reason the winner does not take the prize at the time stipulated by the promoter then
the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be supplied in lieu of the prize.
The promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value. Where the prize is
unavailable for any reason, the promoter may substitute for that prize another item of equal or
higher value as determined by the Promoter, subject to the approval of the gaming authorities
in each state and territory, where required.
16.If for any reason any aspect of this competition is not capable of running as planned,
including by reason of tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or
any cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration,
security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the promoter may in its sole
discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, or invalidate any affected
entries, subject to the approval of the gaming authorities in each state and territory, where
required.
17.The promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the
prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought. Where the operation of this
competition results in, for GST purposes, supplies being made for non-monetary consideration,
entrants agree to follow the Australian Taxation Office’s stated view that where the parties are
at arm’s length, goods and services exchanged are of equal GST inclusive market values.
18.In the event of the prize not being accepted or claimed within 3 months of the draw, the
relevant winner’s entry will be deemed invalid on 03/08/2010 and the promoter reserves
the right to award the unclaimed prize/s to randomly drawn original entrants in accordance
with paragraph 6 or, where necessary, conduct an unclaimed prize draw on 04/08/2010 at
the same time and at the same location as the original draw, subject to any written directions
given by any relevant authority. In the event of any unclaimed prize winner, their details will
be published in The Australian newspaper on 09/08/2010.
