Today will be Pastor Bob’s last Sunday with

us. There will be a receiving line in the Sanctuary

following the 8:30 a.m. service where you can

personally convey to Bob and Mary your best

wishes for them. Following the 11 a.m. service,

there will be a reception for the Donaldsons in

the Gym with finger food provided.

Dedicate a poinsettia in memory of a loved

one for $12 to be used to decorate the church for

Christmas. Then take home after Christmas to

enjoy. Call David Strickler at 589-6403.

Please enter the Sanctuary before the service

starts. In an effort to improve the flow and

continuity of our worship services so that we

might better engage with our infinite and intimate

God, we are going to begin to move most

announcements to the beginning of each service.

Please try very hard to be in the sanctuary by

8:30 a.m. or 11 a.m. each Sunday for a few

minutes of “family business” and then an

uninterrupted time of God-focused, soul-stirring

worship that will include music, singing, praying,

testimonies, and learning from and responding to

God’s Word.

Would you consider serving during the

Christmas Eve candlelight service? We are

looking for 15 people to serve in the nurseries

during the service. Please contact Lisa Rutledge

at lrutledge@gracepres.org or 589-6435.

Any cash/check donations that you wish to have

included on your 2011 Giving Statement must

be received by 5 p.m. on Friday, December 30.

If mailed, they must be postmarked by Saturday,

December 31. Donations received after that time

must be credited to your 2012 giving.

Staff Update: Deb Kumpf will be stepping

down from her staff position in Assimilation and

Women’s Ministry as of the end of the year. Deb

will continue to lead the Women’s Ministry in a

volunteer capacity.

Love offerings for Bob Donaldson and

Deb Kumpf will be accepted through

December 31. You may designate how

much you wish to go to each individual.

Love offerings not designated will be

split evenly between them.
