Terms & Conditions<br />
CAMPAIGN<br />
1. <strong>Alliance</strong> <strong>Bank</strong> <strong>Malaysia</strong> <strong>Berhad</strong> (“ABMB”) Save & Win SMART PLUS Campaign (“Campaign”) will run<br />
from 1 September 2013 until 31 December 2013; inclusive of both dates (“Campaign Period”)<br />
ELIGIBILITY<br />
2. This Campaign is open to the following individuals:<br />
a) New-To-<strong>Bank</strong> allianceonline users (“New Users”)<br />
b) Existing ABMB allianceonline users (“Existing Users”)<br />
*New Users & Existing Users are collectively referred as “Eligible Customers”.<br />
3. The following individuals are NOT eligible for this Campaign:<br />
a) Permanent and/or contract employees of ABMB (including its subsidiaries and related<br />
companies) and/or agents (including advertising and promotion agents) and their immediate<br />
family members;<br />
b) Customers whose account(s) with ABMB are dormant or deemed inactive for the purposes of the<br />
Campaign or who have breached any other agreements with ABMB;<br />
c) Customers whose account(s) with ABMB are deemed to be unsatisfactorily conducted at ABMB’s<br />
sole and absolute discretion;<br />
d) Any other persons as ABMB may decide to exclude at its sole and absolute discretion without<br />
furnishing any reason(s) therefore.<br />
CAMPAIGN CRITERIA<br />
4. Each Eligible Customer must meet the following criteria:<br />
a) Be a registered allianceonline user during the Campaign Period; and<br />
b) To open and place fresh funds via allianceonline into e-Fixed Deposit (Conventional FD)/<br />
e-Investment Account-i (Islamic FD)<br />
("fresh funds" means funds that are newly deposited into existing ABMB account for FD<br />
placement)<br />
5. The monthly campaign period are as follows:<br />
a) 1 September 2013 to 30 September 2013<br />
b) 1 October 2013 to 31 October 2013<br />
c) 1 November 2013 to 30 November 2013<br />
d) 1 December 2013 to 31 December 2013<br />
6. To be entitled for the prizes detailed in Table 3, the Eligible Customer must meet the following criteria:<br />
a) Place fresh funds into e-Fixed Deposit (Conventional FD)/e-Investment Account-i (Islamic FD)<br />
with the pre-defined fixed deposit (“FD”) tenure in a single placement as stated in Table 1 below.<br />
*Manual FD Placement made at Branches will not be eligible for this Campaign<br />

7. e-Fixed Deposit (Conventional FD)/e-Investment Account-i (Islamic FD) placement that is<br />
pre-maturely uplifted before reaching its maturity date will be disqualified from the Campaign.<br />

SELECTION OF WINNERS<br />
8. The winners of the month will be selected based on highest placement value of e-Fixed Deposits<br />
(Conventional FD)/e-Investment Account-i (Islamic FD) for the pre-defined tenure in a single<br />
placement.<br />
a) In the event of a tie on e-Fixed Deposits (Conventional FD)/e-Investment Account-i (Islamic FD)<br />
placement value, winnings will be given to the winner with the longest FD tenure under the same<br />
FD tenure group.<br />
i) In the event of a tie on FD tenure, winnings will be given to the winner with the highest total<br />
deposit growth.<br />
9. Winners will be notified of their winnings either in writing or by telephone (based on their latest<br />
numbers furnished to ABMB as shown in ABMB’s record) and are required to answer a question<br />
regarding allianceonline. In the event of failure to provide a correct answer to the question posed or<br />
winners are not contactable upon 3 attempts, their winnings will be allocated to the next eligible<br />
participant.<br />
10. The announcement of the monthly winners will commence from the month of December 2013 until<br />
March 2014. The monthly winners list will be published on ABMB’s website at<br />
www.alliancebank.com.my according to the announcement period as stated in Table 2 below.<br />

(which is end of August) and place into eFD/eIA<br />

PRIZES<br />
11. There will be a total of sixty-four (64) Prizes to be given away throughout the Campaign Period.<br />

12. Each participant shall be entitled to win one (1) prize only throughout the Campaign Period.<br />
13. The prizes shown in the advertisements and other marketing materials are for illustration purposes<br />
only. The actual design may differ.<br />
14. Delivery of prizes will be made based on the winner’s latest address in ABMB’s record. No delivery of<br />
prizes will be made to a P.O. Box or Locked Bag addresses or to any addresses outside <strong>Malaysia</strong>.<br />
Customers whose address in ABMB’s record is outside <strong>Malaysia</strong> are advised to contact their branch<br />
to arrange for and/or provide an alternative address for delivery.<br />
15. The prize(s) offered is subject to availability. Please allow eight (8) to twelve (12) weeks for delivery<br />
after the announcement of monthly winners. For any item(s) unclaimed after two (2) weeks from initial<br />
announcement date, the winner shall have to personally collect the item at the address stated on the<br />
courier advice slip sent to the winner and the delivery charges for the item(s) shall be borne by the<br />
winner.<br />
16. Risk of loss and damage to the prize is passed onto the winner upon delivery of the prize to the<br />
winner. ABMB or its appointed representative will not replace any defective, loss, damaged or stolen<br />
prizes after delivery.<br />
17. The prize(s) do not include installation, are non-transferable to any third party and non-exchangeable<br />
for up-front cash, credit, cheque or in kind.<br />
18. ABMB reserves the right to select any color of the prize, to change or substitute the prize(s) with other<br />
item(s) of similar value without prior notice.<br />
19. If the winners find the prizes to be faulty or damaged, the winners are advised to liaise with the<br />
relevant merchant or manufacturer directly. ABMB does not provide any warranty nor shall ABMB be<br />
responsible for the quality, merchantability or fitness whatsoever for any other aspect of the prizes<br />
received by the winners in connection with this Campaign. ABMB does not represent and is not an<br />
agent of the merchant(s), agent(s) and/or service provider(s) participating in this Campaign. ABMB<br />
shall not be liable to the winners for any losses, costs or damages of any kind suffered or incurred by<br />
the winners or any other person(s), resulting from the use of the prizes.<br />
Eligible for protection by PIDM
GENERAL<br />
20. All records of the <strong>Bank</strong> on the transactions made under The Campaign shall be deemed conclusive<br />
and final.<br />
21. Fixed Deposits/Investment Account-i that are pledged under loan facilities/provided as collateral or<br />
lien to ABMB are not eligible to participate in this Campaign.<br />
22. These Terms and Conditions shall be supplemental to the existing terms and conditions governing<br />
your Current Account, Savings Account deposits and banking accounts.<br />
23. By participating in the Campaign, the Eligible Customers agree to be bound by all the Campaign<br />
Terms and Conditions.<br />
24. All decision made by ABMB in respect of this Campaign shall be final. No correspondence will be<br />
entertained.<br />
25. If any matters arise which are not covered in the Campaign’s Terms and Conditions, they will be<br />
determined solely by ABMB.<br />
26. ABMB reserves the right at any time to amend, delete or add the Campaign Terms and Conditions<br />
contained herein, wholly or in part at its absolute discretion. For updated versions of these Terms and<br />
Conditions, please visit www.alliancebank.com.my from time to time.<br />
27. For the avoidance of doubt, cancellation, termination, suspension or extension of the Campaign<br />
Period shall not entitle the Eligible Customers to any claims or compensations against ABMB for any<br />
and all losses or damages suffered or incurred by the Eligible Customers as a direct or indirect result<br />
of the act of cancellation, termination, suspension or extension.<br />
28. ABMB shall not be responsible nor shall accept any liabilities of whatsoever nature howsoever arising<br />
or suffered by Eligible Customers resulting directly or indirectly from this Campaign.<br />
