There has been much excitement and

anticipation at Chamber head quarters

as we launch our new website. A new

website which has increased

functionality as well as a new and fresh


As you can image the process of

developing a new website has had its

challenges and for a small team such as

the Somerset Chamber, a stretch on

resources too. But that said, the

Somerset Chamber team always rise to

a challenge and with the help of Chamber members the process has been relatively smooth.

The new website is now not only a great tool to promote

what the Somerset Chamber does, but also for the

promotion of its members and the great work done

within the Somerset business community.

New members directory search with the ability to

search by sector, area and company name — a

great benefit to encourage more

member-to-member business activity

New Events Calendar & Booking Service — with the

ability to search by area and event type as well as,

for the first time, to make multiple bookings for

more than one event and for more than one

delegate — and also to select your menu choices

(if applicable)

Information hub that provides a host of information

and activity on projects, government, skills,

business networks, statistics and much more.

Enhanced news service linked to our growing

social media platforms covering Chamber news,

members’ news and key information from the

British Chambers of Commerce.

Fully automated membership joining and renewals

making it easier for members to manage their

Chamber account using unique log-in details and

credit or debit card transactions

We Need Your Help

If you have not received an email invitation to log-on to

the new website, please look out for it—and remind

others in your organisation to do the same.

The new system will only work for you if you help it to!

If you have any problems with logging on, please

contact the Chamber team and we will try to help you.

Whilst we think it is a fairly straightforward process,

there are bound to be a few snags, so we need to hear

about them as soon as possible.
