Our Oncologists
The Park Cancer Centre has opened as a new, purpose built facility offering a comprehensive
and convenient cancer treatment service within the grounds of BMI The Park Hospital.
Excellence in private cancer treatment
The Centre expands the existing oncology services at
BMI The Park Hospital by adding more chemotherapy bays
and adding the latest radiotherapy technology. The centre
forms the heart of a complete pathway from diagnosis to
surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy and if necessary,
on to palliative care, all within one comfortable and
accessible environment.
Leading chemotherapy services
Our chemotherapy service is flexible to meet the needs
of our patients, offering both outpatient and day-case
facilities with round the clock assistance available from
a 24 hour nursing support line with direct inpatient
admission if required.

Radiotherapy at The Park Cancer Centre
The Park Cancer Centre benefits from the latest
advancements in radiotherapy technology. Delivered by
Cancer Partners UK, the centre offers IMRT (intensity
modulated radiotherapy) and IGRT (image guided
radiotherapy) which means carefully shaped and targeted
radiotherapy doses, reducing the expected side effects.
Cancer Partners UK is an independent organisation set
up by a group of cancer experts and healthcare managers
aimed at improving the overall quality and availability of
cancer services across the UK, particularly in radiotherapy.
With the support of BMI The Park Hospital, The Park
Cancer Centre gives access to a range of diagnostics
including X-ray, MRI and CT scanning, plus pathology
services. In addition, our on-site Pharmacy delivers access
to some of the latest drugs, helping to provide faster
access to treatment.

How to find us
BMI The Park Hospital is located in Nottingham, and The Park Cancer Centre is situated
within the grounds of the Hospital. Parking is available both for the BMI The Park Hospital and
separate dedicated parking is available for The Park Cancer Centre, including disabled spaces.
From M1: Take the A608 from Junction 27 – signposted for Mansfield and Hucknall. Continue
on A608 until third roundabout and take right hand lane, signposted A611 to Hucknall and
Nottingham. At the second roundabout follow the signs for B6011 passing through Linby and
Papplewick to the junction with the A60. Turn right towards Nottingham then first left. Take
the first road signposted BMI The Park Hospital, Police Headquarters, Burntstump Country
Park. The hospital is located off the first turning to the left.
From Nottingham: Take the A60 towards Mansfield. Turn right at Seven Mile Grill.
Take next right signposted BMI The Park Hospital, Police Headquarters, Burntstump
