<strong>Rising</strong> <strong>Star</strong> <strong>Award</strong><br />
Enterprising Women Excellence <strong>Award</strong>s 2013 - The Rules<br />
1. The categories in the Enterprising Women Excellence <strong>Award</strong>s 2013 are free to enter for<br />
all businesses.<br />
2. Entry to more than one category is allowed.<br />
3. The closing date for entries is 9.00am on Friday 14th December 2012<br />
4. Entries are treated in confidence.<br />
5. Entries must be electronic.<br />
6. Supporting information is not permitted unless it forms part <strong>of</strong> the entry document e.g.<br />
testimonials. A maximum <strong>of</strong> 2 insertions (e.g. tables, graphs or photos) may be included<br />
within the entry form. Supplementary information may be requested.<br />
7. Judges reserve the right to audit any information supplied.<br />
8. Please note the maximum word count for any entry is 1000 words. This word count<br />
limit does NOT include the questions. If your entry exceeds this word count it could be<br />
disqualified by the judges.<br />
9. Entries will be judged by representatives <strong>of</strong> the sponsoring company.<br />
10. Applicants must be authorised to enter their organisation into the awards programme.<br />
11. Entries should be in English <strong>and</strong> should be produced using a word processor. All entries<br />
must be checked for spelling <strong>and</strong> grammar.<br />
12. Incomplete entries will not be judged.<br />
13. Entry forms will become the property <strong>of</strong> sponsoring company <strong>and</strong> entries will not be<br />
returned.<br />
14. Pro<strong>of</strong> <strong>of</strong> sending entry (by email) is not pro<strong>of</strong> <strong>of</strong> receipt by DNCC.<br />
15. All entries will be acknowledged by the cut-<strong>of</strong>f date.<br />
16. <strong>Award</strong> finalists <strong>and</strong> winners will be announced at the EW <strong>Award</strong>s gala dinner on Friday<br />
8th March 2013.<br />
17. Winning companies will be publicised in <strong>Chamber</strong> In-Business Magazine.<br />
18. The sponsoring company <strong>and</strong> <strong>Derbyshire</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Nottinghamshire</strong> <strong>Chamber</strong> reserve the right<br />
to withdraw an award from any applicant supplying false information within their entry.<br />
19. The judges’ decision is final. However, companies can request feedback.<br />
20. By registering <strong>and</strong> completing an entry for the <strong>Award</strong>s you agree to these terms <strong>and</strong><br />
conditions.<br />
