Why do we have a<br />
<strong>Dress</strong> <strong>Code</strong>?<br />
• Limit classroom distractions<br />
• Practice appropriate dress attire in the workplace<br />
• Preserve safety within our school
FAILURE TO COMPLY<br />
If You Arrive to <strong>School</strong> Wearing<br />
Inappropriate <strong>Dress</strong>, You Will:<br />
• Be asked to cover up with clothing that you<br />
have in your locker or gym locker<br />
• Remove articles such as: jewelry, bandanas<br />
or hats<br />
OR<br />
• Call a parent to bring appropriate clothing
Continuous <strong>Dress</strong> <strong>Code</strong> Violations<br />
If there is a repetitive behavior in<br />
violating the <strong>Dress</strong> <strong>Code</strong> <strong>Policy</strong>,<br />
further action will be taken by<br />
Administration.

• No Midriff showing<br />
• No Open Backs<br />
• No Unnecessary Flesh or Cleavage<br />

drugs, drug paraphernalia, sexual innuendo,<br />
or offensive words, pictures or symbols is not<br />
allowed!

• <strong>Jackets</strong> are not to be worn in school<br />
UNLESS it is a Forest Lake Area sports<br />
jacket

or Slippers<br />
• Wearing pajamas and/or<br />
slippers is not considered<br />
appropriate school attire<br />
• Unless it is part of a school<br />
wide dress-up day!

Accessories<br />
• Hats, bandanas, head coverings and sunglasses<br />
may not be worn in school<br />
• When you arrive to school, immediately remove<br />
these items<br />
• Head coverings are acceptable for religious<br />
purposes only

• You are allowed to wear hair accessories if<br />
they are less then 1 inch thick<br />
• If you fail to remove these items, they will be<br />
confiscated and returned to a parents or to<br />
the student at the end of the year!
