Reflection coefficient (ρ)<br />
Is the ratio between the two impedances<br />
ρ = (Z – Zo) / (Z + Zo)<br />
For an antenna of 100 Š <strong>and</strong> a transmitter with a 50 Š<br />
output with no reactive (imaginary) component<br />
ρ = (100 – 50) / (100 + 50) or ρ =50/150 or ρ = .333<br />
