The high-performance material PE-RT,
that has been used successfully for
many years in heating and sanitary pipes,
is finding more and more fields of
application thanks to its outstanding
properties. PE-RT pipes are increasingly
replacing pipes of PE-X (cross linked
polyethylene) on account of their enormous
functional capacity. The reason is
the unique molecular structure of these
thermoplastic polymers, from which
HPG has been making top-quality pipes
for over 20 years.

The material PEOC ® is an ethyleneoctene-copolymer

perature resistance of the type PE-RT 80
(Dowlex® 2344 e.g.). Pipes of PEOC ®
display not only an outstanding stability
against stress corrosion cracking and
a very good creep strength. They are
also highly flexible and extremely easy
to handle, even at low temperatures.
In addition, PEOC ® can be welded and
is fully recyclable as a thermoplastic
polymer.

>> Using pipes of PEOC ®
PEOC ® pipes are suitable, for example,
for heat recovery systems, geothermal
systems and solar collectors. As a multilayer
pipe with a co-extruded diffusion
barrier PEOC ® is particularly suitable
for use in diverse surface heating systems
(underfloor heating, radiator
connection etc.).
>> Standards and guidelines
PEOC ® pipes comply with all common
standards and guidelines in their respective
fields of application (e.g. DIN
16833, DIN 4721, oxygen-tight acc.
to DIN 4726, etc.). They are not only
suitable for underfloor heating systems
(ISO 10508 Class 4), but also for radiator
connection (ISO 10508 Class 5).

can be found in the latest version of
our technical manual.

For us it is a matter of course that our
products, production processes and
quality management system are regularly
audited by independent test institutes.
We provide security for you –
with a 10 year permanent insurance
cover and an additional 30 year manufacturer's
warranty.
>> We manufacture PEOC ® pipes in
the diameter range 8 mm to 40 mm.
>> Individual wall thicknesses are
possible for every diameter.
>> Our pipes are available in bars, rolls
or on drums.
>> What's more, you specify the
dimensional tolerances, imprint and
colour of your pipe.

Long-term Behaviour
>> The creep rupture diagram for
PEOC ® shows the stability under load
of pipes made from this material at
different temperatures and pressure
loads. The comparative stress shown
here is independent of dimensions and
thus applies for all pipe sizes.
