YORK HOSPITAL 5K

This is an early summer (June) 5K run through scenic York Village and York Harbor, sponsored by York Hospital.

The course uniquely incorporates a small section of cross country terrain as it winds over the Wiggly Bridge and

COUCH TO YORK DAYS 5k

Whether you are a runner or not, it’s NEVER too late to

start. Today is the day to turn your life around, one

step at a time. This beginner running program will give

you the guidance, motivation and structure to get off

your couch, get outside with your running sneakers

and begin creating the new life and body you never

thought imaginable. This 12 or 16 week, low-moderate

level program is open to men and women looking to

achieve some amazing goals while crossing the finish

lines of road races, including our own York Days 5K.

Registrtation fee include traiign manual, coaching

consultation, ONE coached run workout per week and

entry fee for York Days 5K.

STARTS: May 9th ENDS: July 26th or August 20th

COST: $135.00 Res $145.00 Non Res for 12 weeks

BOG ROAD BOOT CAMP

DYING TO SEE YOU

Boot camp is a total-body, weight loss focused conditioning program designed to improve your

muscular strength, power, muscular and cardiovascular endurance, agility, coordination, speed,

flexibility, and balance. This program is designed to give challenging workouts to all participants at

all ability levels. This program will help develop strength, endurance, self-confidence, and

emotional security. Life begins when you start that next big adventure. Boot Camp will be

instructed by Samantha Stephens.“Sam” started her competitive athletic career in the 80’s as a

Junior Hunter rider competing in numerous Horse Shows all over the North East. Her love for

fitness began when her riding coach said she needed to be stronger..so there began her journey for

weight lifting and running.

Whether you are a mom who wants to lose that last 10 lbs, train for the Seacoast Road Race series,

your first 5K or Sprint Triathlon, or if you are a seasoned competitive athlete that wants to achieve

the next level in your performance …She Can Help!

Opening Day 2015

Saturday May 2, 9-10:30

YLL invites all Softball and Baseball players to march in our annual

parade from YHS to Smith Field, National League players will be

joining us. We will be welcomed to Smith Field by SLUGGER from the

Portland SeaDogs!! Line up at 8:30 at YHS and parade begins at 8:45. All parking

except handicap will be at YHS this year to allow extra room at Smith for activities.

Ceremony begins at 9:00. Please be respectful at YHS as SAT’s are that day, park toward Football Field

! Games begin at 11:00 and are scheduled throughout the day at ALL Fields

Beach, Bog and Smith

! Home Run Derby Inflatable all day at Smith Field

! Fastest Pitch Radar in the cage with York Police Department

! Accuracy Bean Bag Toss
