GRUNDIG DVB MICRO RECEIVER 

If you fi nd the sheer number of devices connected to your LCD 

TV a visual nuisance, then the Grundig DVB micro receiver is 

exactly right for you. These small receivers for digital satellite, 

DVB-T or cable signals can be plugged directly into the LCD 

TV’s SCART socket. This way they remain invisible, except for 

the small infrared mouse necessary for remote control.

computer to listen to Hip-Hop from New York, Country from 

Nashville or Merenge directly from the Caribbean. 

Thanks to a WLAN connection and audio-streaming, the Web 

audio equipment developed by Grundig off ers you unlimited 

enjoyment even without a computer. 

The only condition is that you have a WLAN network at home 

so that a connection can be made to the internet with its 

untold number of radio stations, even when the computer is 

not actually up and running.

generates additional intermediate pictures for scanned fi lms 

and integrates them into the respective motion phases. This 

ensures a natural fl ow of movement and outstanding picture

DYNAMIC CONTRAST PLUS 

The picture contrast shows the relationship between the 

brightest and darkest picture display. Our new dynamic 

contrast optimisation guarantees the best possible contrast 

for each individual picture on the screen. And this means an 

optimal depth of focus. 

Television station broadcasting: 

50 pictures per second. 

The 100-Hz-technology generates an additional picture 

between the two original pictures. This results in outstanding 

pictures and completely fl uid motion for e. g. sport scenes and 

ticker text. 

100-Hz-TECHNOLOGIE 

For the 100-Hz-technology the number of images is doubled 

from 50 to 100 images per second. An additional intermediate 

picture is generated between two original pictures. This means 

that each picture is only shown for ten milliseconds. The result 

is outstanding, blur-free pictures with completely fl uid motions 

at all times.

Step up to “HD ready” and get the 

sharpest television of all time. This 

designation indicates the LCD TV can 

reproduce full HDTV resolution of 1920 x 

1080 pixels in “progressive” display

24p replay 

In the cinema, 24 full images per second 

are projected. To deliver the same picture 

quality in home cinema, fi lms on the new 

disc type Blu-ray are stored with 24

3-D sound eff ects 

Optically, the Grundig Vision 9 with sound 

projector is indistinguishable from an LCD 

TV with normal stereo sound. Via a 

loudspeaker bar with 16 high-performance 

Konus speakers and a sub-woofer placed 

in the rear of the housing, real surround 

sound is produced without additional 5.1 

equipment. The surround sound is 

provided by a sophisticated technology 

that activates the individual speakers with 

a minimal delay. This generates bundles of 

sound waves and directs them to diff erent 

points throughout the room, where they 

refl ect off the walls. 

ECO panel 

Today, televisions use far less energy than 

ten years ago. However, every kilowatt 

saved will relieve your purse and the 

environment. The Vision 6 LCDs with the 

ECO panel consume up to 48 percent less 

energy in normal TV operation than a 

comparable standard LCD TV. 

Zero stand-by 

Electricity isn’t just consumed when the 

TV is operational, but also in the so-called 

stand-by. Vision 6 ECO LCDs also score 

points here. With a mere 0.09 watt power 

input in stand-by mode, they lie far below 

the usual values and are virtually 0 watt. 

Integrated DVB-T receiver 

DVB-T is digital television received via 

rooftop or indoor antenna. In a number of

Optically, the Grundig Vision 9 with its 3-D sound projector is indistinguishable from an LCD TV with normal stereo 

sound. A sound unit beneath the screen houses the individual speakers. But the sound projector has a bit more to 

off er than the usual four mid-range and treble speakers: Grundig has integrated 16 high-performance, special Konus 

speakers into the sound unit. The subwoofer is located at the back of the housing and projects to the rear. The 

surround sound is provided by a sophisticated technology which activates the individual speakers with minimal delay. 

This generates bundles of sound waves and directs them to diff erent points throughout the room, where they refl ect off 

the walls. The result is surround sound which usually can only be replicated by 5.1 systems.

Of course, an excellent picture also belongs to excellent sound. The Grundig Vision 9 also off ers full HD resolution 

with 1920 x 1080 pixels as well as a refresh rate of 100 hertz. In combination with the Motion Picture Improvement 

technology for preventing motion blur, such a brilliant, highest-resolution picture is generated that even fast camera 

pans and fast-moving sports always remain razor-sharp. 

Cinema fans will also enjoy a maximum of movie pleasure on the Grundig Vision 9. In the “Movie Mode”, 24 pictures per

For media player connection, the Vision 9 features four HDMI slots, which all comply with the HDMI 1.3 CEC standard. 

Operating any peripheral devices which have been connected, such as a DVD player, Blu-ray player, satellite receiver 

or DVB-C receiver, is made possible using the TV remote control, as long as these devices also feature HDMI 1.3 CEC. 

At the same time, it is completely irrelevant which manufacturers the playback or receiver devices are made by: the 

Grundig remote control can operate all these combined media via the Vision 9. 

The timelessly beautiful, unique design of the Vision 9, the materials used and the myriad of practical details form a 

perfect symbiosis of quality and durability. The off set sound unit of the sound projector with its soft forms and rounded 

lower edges has a distinctive and dynamic appearance. The display area is structured quietly and lineally. And the
