Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet has prepared
dancers for the world’s top ballet companies
since 1955. The CPYB 5-Week Summer Ballet
Program provides unparalleled technical training
for beginning, intermediate, advanced and
professional dancers.
While studying at CPYB’s summer intensive
program, students will benefit from:

Massachusetts
Program
Summer students participate in a comprehensive
curriculum of 16 or more ballet classes per week
that bring together the finest in technique and
artistry. Course work includes Ballet Technique,
and for those who qualify: Pointe, Variations,
Partnering, Modern and Men’s class. Optional
supplemental classes, encompassing fitness and
other genres of dance, provide the opportunity
for dancers to expand their base of training
knowledge and experience other forms of dance.
Housing
Supervised housing, with on-call health care and
physical therapy, is available on the beautiful
campus of Dickinson College for students ages 11
and older. Located in the heart of historic Carlisle,
the Dickinson campus features an Olympic-size
indoor swimming pool, bookstore, coffee shop,
convenience store, and one of the top-ranked
college dining services in the country—all within
walking distance of CPYB’s Warehouse Studios.

The 2012 5-Week Summer Ballet Program
application is available at CPYB.org. Students
may also request a paper application by phone
or email.
Limited need-based tuition scholarships are
available. Academic year male scholarships are

If postmarked on or before February 1, 2012 $1,500*
If postmarked February 2 – March 31, 2012 $1,700*
If postmarked April 1 – May 31, 2012 $1,875*
After June 1, 2012 $2,175**
Housing (room and board) $3,175
Application fee $75
*To receive the tuition discount, students staying in the residential housing must pay room and board
at the same time as tuition.
**This total includes a $150 tuition late fee.
