Brendan Collum is a self-taught artist and has
been working with bog oak for the last twenty
years. His great love is for the artistic sculpture
of the natural twisted roots that suggest the
shape of the piece, be it an abstract sculpture
or root that looks like a bird, animal or human
form.
Here the story of bog oak is told through
video, photographs and the finished pieces of
sculpture.
