walking will take you to the center of Krk. A unique blend of
nature and urban culture offers adequate accommodation for

On the surface area of 11 hectares, there are 5 well-equipped
sanitary facilities.
At the Ježevac beach grill restaurant located by the beach,

sandwiches. The campsite also features a grocery store, a
fruit shop and a kiosk stocking a full range of local and
international daily newspapers.
The camp beach is mostly pebble-covered and partly rocky. It
offers numerous sports and recreational activities. It holds the
prestigious Blue Flag Award for cleanness.
The campsite includes two tennis courts, table tennis
tables, and a children’s playground. A diverse animation
and entertainment program intended for both children and
adults will make your days special and your nights pleasant.

2013 to the former Naturist Camping Politin. Expect 4-star quality in a
pleasant setting, just a short stroll from the historic centre of Krk.
A range of fully equipped, spacious pitches and mobile homes set
amid the pretty Mediterranean landscape provides accommodation
in the shade of olive trees. Maro Mini Club, Maro Midi Club, a Teens
Club, swimming pool and games room will keep youngsters of all ages
entertained, while a wellness oasis offers plenty of opportunities for
parents to chill out with saunas and pampering treatments. Active
families will also find plenty of sporting activities at the multifunctional
recreation ground, with volleyball, basketball and tennis, to name but a
few. For less strenuous pursuits there’s an innovative Hobby Club where
adults can learn new skills and take part in creative pastimes. And of
course no family holiday resort is complete without a great beach, which
is why we’ve upgraded the facilities on Camping Krk’s Blue Flag beach.

The Glavotok Camp - Krk
Glavotok Camp is located on the golden island of Krk,
surrounded by lush vegetation, Mediterranean woods
and the crystal clear Adriatic Sea. For years, Glavotok and
Šotovento (the western part of the island) have attracted
numerous tourists due to their natural beauty and peace.
Glavotok Camp offers you mobile homes and large
pitches. Up-to-date sanitary facilities ensure the highest
standards of cleanliness.
Domestic food, fresh fish, olive oil and vegetables are
the basis of all dishes characteristic for this area. In our
Glavotok Restaurant we prepare dishes under a baking lid
in a traditional manner.
By constructing the first plant water treatment facility
in the Republic of Croatia, which through a pool system
treats wastewater using cane in a completely natural way,
we have made our small contribution to a common goal
– nature preservation.
Glavotok and Šotovento (the western part of the island)
offer several pebble and rocky beaches where you can
relax and enjoy the beauties of the Adriatic.
Next to the camp, there is a Holm Oakwood (2,5 acres)
– one of the protected forest reserves in the Republic of
Croatia.
At a walking distance from the camp, there is a small
village of Glavotok with a Franciscan monastery (tertiary
Glagolitic monks) and a Church of St. Mary built in 1507.
The monastery has an important cultural significance,
especially for the Croatian-Glagolitic heritage. Strolling by
the sea or further down the village Milohnić, you should
also visit a small church of St. Krševan – a world heritage
monument.

The Pila Camp - Punat
...is located in the heart of Punat under the green pine

The Konobe Naturist
Camp - Punat
...is located only 3 kilometers from Punat. It stretches
over the mild slopes of a protected cove forming
terraced parcels offering a beautiful view of the sea
and the Kvarner Bay islands.
To live in nature with nature is exactly the experience
one gets in this camp. All camp amenities and

beach with pebble-covered areas on which there are

restaurant.
You can enjoy numerous land & water sports

launching area for boats as well. One of the nearby

The Zablaće Camp - Baška
…is located along the pebbly beach called Vela plaža. The beach is
1,800 meters long and stretches along the center of Baška offering a
unique view of the surrounding islands and the sea shore.
The first section of the camp is located right on the beach. If you
book your stay at the camp in advance, you will have the privilege of
enjoying a spot in this section, only a few steps from the sea.
The other section of the camp is located a hundred meters from the
shore. This section is not parceled and is ideal for those who cannot
book their stay in advance. There are a few green oases within this
section.
In order to make your vacation easier and more carefree, we can
arrange for a camper van or a mobile home to be waiting for you at
the camp on your arrival. To make the necessary arrangements, you
need to book your stay in advance.
The campsite includes a store, a kiosk with sports requisites, snack
bars on the beach, and numerous fish restaurants close by.
From the sports & entertainment offering, we would like to
direct your attention to the following: the aqua-gun, the children

Camp - Baška
…is located in a romantic cove surrounded by rocks
and green Mediterranean macchie on one side and
the crystal clear sea blending gently with the white

The campsite is divided in terraced parcels

The Tiha Camp - Šilo

The Pušća Camp - Omišalj
...is located close to the historical town of Omišalj. It
is located in a tame cove on a beautiful sandy beach.
Because of the immediate vicinity of the Krk bridge, it is

The total camp capacity is 300 people. The sanitary

Slamni Camp - Klimno
a seashore camp for families, rest and health, classified as
four stars, is located in the northeast part of the island of Krk,
in Soline Bay, one of its most preserved oases known for its
healing mud for treatment of bone aches.
The camp offers 60 camping lots with water, electricity, sewer
and internet connections. The camp contains mobile homes,
fully equipped and air conditioned, with SAT-TV.

Interesting facts:
The Romans called it Insula aurea or the Golden
Island. Many streets in the old town centers on
the island are paved with stone tiles. In case you
get lost in this labyrinth of streets just remember
that the main street is the one that has tiles
placed in one direction right in its middle.
The lion carved in stone, the symbol of the rule
of Venice, can be seen all over the island.
There are many small caves on the island (more
than 50) that can be reached only from the sea,
that is, by boat.
There are two lakes on the island: Lake Ponikve,
which is used for waterworks, and Lake and the
River Vela Rika.
The local population is mainly engaged in sheepfarming,
olive-growing, wine-growing, apiculture,
cheese-making, hunting etc.
The most stubborn and the laziest creature on
the island is the donkey.
The highest peak is Obzova (568 m).
The walls you can see throughout the island were
used for protection from the cold and strong
wind (Bura), and the enclosed space inside was
usually used for vine-growing or keeping sheep.
On the mountain top you will come across some
stone totems people make during walks.
Biserujka is a cave located near Rudine rich
with beautiful calcitic ornaments. There is a
legend that it used to be a hiding place for the
smugglers’ treasure.
Underground galleries are embellished with
stalactite, stalagmite and calcitic poles. It is about
110 m long and very specific because it is only
half a meter under the ground.
The temperature inside the cave is approximately
10 to 13 ºC during the whole year.
Soline cove was once a salt-works and today it is
a place where many visitors come for a mudbath.
There is a mussel-bed (oysters and mussels) right
next to Soline cove.
It takes 2 years for a mussel to grow 6 cm.
Boat tours:
Prvić Island - is a unique botanical and zoological
reservation.
Goli Otok - was once a communist prison.
Rab - has a beautiful old town centre and
characteristic bell towers.
Other excursions to the mainland and other
islands:
Plitvička Jezera (protected by the UNESCO) - a
group of lakes connected by attractive waterfalls.
National parks - Risnjak, Velebit, the Brijuni
Islands
Island festivities:
Summer festivals of Krk at Kamplin: concerts of
classical music, jazz festivals, theatre.
Fishing Day is celebrated in almost every town on
the island.
Festivities involve folklore music, choirs and
sopile.
Souvenirs:
Souvenirs with the Glagolitic alphabet, bukalete,
homemade garden-sage honey, sheep cheese,
olive oil, brandy, Vrbnička Žlahtina wine.
Local food:
Šurlice with goulash, dishes pod pekom (cooked
under hot ashes), lamb, different types of
maneštra, macaroni, wild asparagus, smoked
ham and cheese, kroštuli (a type of pastry),
frite, pancakes, figs, spices like rosemary and
laurel leaves, various fish dishes (octopus salad,
seawater fish with onions, fish stew called brodet
with polenta) and seafood dishes.
Ziziphus jujuba - or žižula is a thorny shrub
which extended from Asia and can also be
found on Croatian islands. These trees or shrubs
produce edible fruit which resembles olives.
On Krk Island it only grows inside the city walls
because it is not resistant to strong northern
winds.
