Introduction
The Red River College Students’ Association is both a line of defense and
proactive plateform for the student body. Since its inception in the 1950’s,
the Students’ Association has continued to provide relevant services,
programs and events that cater to the growing needs of its stakeholders
in a courtious and cost effective manner.

Logo Mark
Concept
This image may like it is not based on any concept at all, but the exact
opposite is true. This design incorporates the letter “S” to represent the
word “Students’”. The letter “A” to represent “Association” and together they
make the internationally recognized symbol for infinity, which is widely
seen as a symbol of never ending possibility. Also, the bottom two points
of this design resemble a bridge. This is a very relevant design application
because the Students’ Association works hard to bridge the gap between
the college and the students that attend, through the use of SA services.

Custom Typeface
This tightly kerned custom typeface is tall in stature. It communicates
strength in numbers. The interior of each letter is made with sharpe 90˚
angles. The exterior utilizes rounded corners to soften itsf appearence. By
combining both, this custom typeface conveys professionalism as well as
playfulness. This blended message is a healthy balance of work and play
creating an equilibrium within the message it imparts on the viewer.

application used in the logo mark. The
follow diagram specifies this application
throughout the logo mark design. Special
attention should be payed to the angle
and location as well as transparency. The

Two standardized typefaces have been chosen for the Red Leaf Loans Brand Identity. They are to be used in all printed
and online communications. Each font was selected for its visual compatibility with the Red River College Students’
Association brandmark and for its ability to convey a personality that is consistant with our brand. Only use the wieght

identity system is Helvetica Neue LT Std. Helvectica Neue LT Std is a clean font that is the standard most ledgable font
used today. Use Helvetica Neue LT Std. in all body copy print. For any body copy in web format please use the font arial
which is a close web substitute for Helvetica Neue LT Std.
