Subject of contract<br />

Orgatech AG as „hire firm“ provides hired furniture in accordance with the written<br />

instructions of the person placing the order, the „hirer“.<br />

Type <strong>and</strong> scope of service<br />

The hire firm provides the hire goods for the use of the hirer for the agreed period<br />

of time.<br />

Stipulated use<br />

The hire goods are places at the hirer’s disposal expressly for the agreed hire<br />

period (duration of event) <strong>and</strong> at the agreed location (event, st<strong>and</strong> number in the<br />

exhibition centre). The hire goods are delivered in due time before the start of the<br />

event <strong>and</strong> without prior notification.<br />

In signing the receipt slip on the delivery note, the hirer acknowledges receipt of the<br />

hire goods in a complete <strong>and</strong> serviceable condition. Complaints must be registered<br />

immediately at the time of delivery. All hired furniture or other articles shall be<br />

prepared ready for collection at the end of the event. As a deviation from the<br />

agreed delivery date, the hire firm is permitted to deliver the ordered hire goods 48<br />

hours before the start of the event.<br />

Hire charges, payment<br />

The prices quoted on the order form are net prices to which the statutory rate of<br />

value added tax must be added.<br />

The hire charge covers the duration of the event, unless otherwise agreed in<br />

writing. Hire charges are based on the current price list.<br />

Invoices are issued during the event <strong>and</strong> payment of the full amount is to be made<br />

by not later than the end of the event. The amount due will be collected on the<br />

st<strong>and</strong>.<br />

Direct orders made immediately before or during the event are to be paid in cash<br />

at the time of placing the order.<br />

Liability<br />

The hirer is responsible for loss or damage to the hire goods. Liability commences<br />

on delivery to the st<strong>and</strong> <strong>and</strong> ceases on collection after the goods have been taken<br />

into the charge of the hire firm’s representative. This also applies in the event of<br />

event unless otherwise agreed.<br />

The hire firm will check the hire goods for damage on return or collection <strong>and</strong> the<br />

hirer will be notified of any claims in writing.<br />

In the event of loss of hire goods, the hirer is liable for compensation at the cost<br />

of replacement (price new). Damaged goods will be repaired if possible <strong>and</strong> the<br />

cost of repair charged to the hirer. The hirer is liable for the cost of replacement<br />

(price new) if repair is not possible.<br />

Cancellation<br />

Cancellation of this hire contract is only permissible up to 14 days prior to the start<br />

of the event. The full hire charge is payable in the event of later cancellation. If<br />

the goods can be hired out elsewhere, the hirer is liable for the costs incurred up<br />

to the time of hiring out to another exhibitor.<br />

Other conditions<br />

The hire firm reserves the right to vary the shapes <strong>and</strong> colours indicated in the<br />

brochure.<br />

The German text of our terms <strong>and</strong> conditions prevails in case of doubt for orders<br />

received from exhibitors abroad.<br />

The place of fulfilment <strong>and</strong> jurisdiction is Stuttgart.<br />

Please note:<br />

Transport insurance is not charged.<br />

The hirer is to insure the hire goods against theft <strong>and</strong> damage.<br />

Orders received 3 day or less prior the start of the event will be subject<br />

to a 30% surcharge.<br />
