Field-Based Reporting
Inform FBR is a flexible web-enabled
field reporting solution that gives officers
the ability to create, update, and submit
reports easily and efficiently from the
field or in the station. With an intuitive
user interface and extensive workflow
configuration options, Inform FBR
streamlines the entire reporting process
from writing through approval.
As a key part of the Inform enterprisewide
solution, Inform FBR provides ready
access to call for service, subject, and
vehicle information from Inform CAD
and Inform Mobile to expedite report
completion. Inform FBR also offers online
access to the Inform RMS Master Indices
to select and re-use data previously
entered into RMS. The increased mobility
and fast data entry available with Inform
FBR enables officers to spend less time
entering reports and spend more time in
the field keeping our communities safer.
Data entry designed for ease of use
Inform FBR gives users the ability to enter
Incident, Arrest, Supplement Accident,
Citation, and Field Interview reports. The
Inform FBR screens offer the familiarity of
paper forms that officers are accustomed
to completing by hand to reduce the
learning curve and decrease the time
required to enter reports.
Full citation support provides an
automated and paperless process
With magnetic stripe reader support in
Inform Mobile to pre-populate driver’s
license information into the citation and
connection with a mobile printer to issue
the citation, Inform FBR reduces errors
and legibility issues and significantly
speeds processing time for citations.

Once the citation is entered, officers can upload the
citation to Inform RMS and court systems to further
reduce the amount of manual processing for each
citation.
Ability to add attachments and integrate with
Microsoft applications
Officers can add attachments such as images to field
reports which are then transferred and attached to
the Inform RMS record. Inform FBR also integrates
with existing Microsoft applications, such as Word
and Visio, allowing agencies to take advantage of
software that may already be in use for enhanced
creation of narratives and ability to embed DMV
sketches in accident reports.
