Santa Fe Construction is a privately owned company headquartered in Costa Rica that was established in 1974 by Marco Antonio Solís Vargas and his father Hernán Solís Herrera. Instead of limiting its market to Costa Rica, the company does heavy-construction projects in Central American countries such as Nicaragua, El Salvador, and Panama—and in the early 1990s Santa Fe Construction even worked as a subcontractor for a project on US Interstate 75 in South Florida. A key element in the company’s strategy is to utilize the best equipment that features cuttingedge technology.
