CARVA 

Solid, individual, perfectly crafted: The new CARVA, a solid wood range for the 

sectors Living and Dining offers exceptionally flexible planning possibilities. The 

range is based upon a side panel system offering a wide choice of different heights 

and depths as well as numerous shelf widths. Single units such as lowboards, 

sideboards or glass cabinets complement the range. CARVA is perfect to create 

individual storage and shelving solutions with a timeless look. 

Solid alder and natural oak are used in strong material thicknesses: Elaborately 

crafted grooves in fronts and handles as well as striking protruding feature doors 

underline the elegant woods. Stained glass cabinets as well as selected fronts 

covered in grey-brown or white nappa leather or an interesting textured fabric 

emphasise the natural character. 

Lacquered accents on the carcase or cocoa lacquered glass on sliding doors and 

especially the distinctive, innovative glass bonnets and eye-catching LED handle 

lighting on lowboards and sideboards add a modern touch to CARVA. The latest 

bracket technology allows selected units to be wall-mounted. High-quality functional 

units such as crockery, cutlery and bottle inserts ensure the perfect integration of the 

dining area. 

The invisible shelf brackets of the side panel system are a particular quality feature of 

the range: Despite individual planning and installation, even the smallest connection 

remains invisible. A masterly detail. 

We only use authentic, genuine materials for CARVA: The solid woods come 

exclusively from sustainable sources, which guarantee continuous forestry and 

therefore the continuity of the resources. 

In order to protect the precious solid wood, CARVA is treated with the innovative 

EverNatural lacquer. EverNatural maintains the natural look and feel of solid wood. 

The level of protection from liquids is considerably higher than for waxed or oiled 

surfaces. Furthermore, EverNatural protects from greying, mechanical wear and tear 

and reduces the dirt build-up. The lacquer is effective in the long term, easy to care 

for as well as odourless and is certified with the “Blue Angel”.

ELEA II 

Clear, geometric shapes and solid, traditional woods were considered to be 

incompatible for a long time. The re-launched solid wood range ELEA II, however, 

underlines that such a combination can nevertheless create an impressive 

contemporary overall look with sensory appeal. 

ELEA II is based upon cuboid shapes and features clean and simple lines; flush- 

closing fronts create a calm and sublime atmosphere in the room. The combination 

with solid wood subtly adds interest: light, vibrantly grained structured beech and 

calm elegant walnut, whose horizontal grain direction underlines the modern 

character of the range. The new combinations with white lacquered matt glass on 

drawer fronts, cover surfaces or interior compartments on glass cabinets provide 

distinctive and eye-catching contrasts. 

Lowboards, highboards and sideboards are available in different widths as a closed 

version, with recessed compartments or glass inserts. Innovative brackets allow the 

use of selected units to be wall-mounted. A beautiful addition: wall mounted shelves 

and angular shelves with glass and integrated lighting. The completely handle-less 

doors and drawers are fitted with the innovative push-to-open technology. 

As a natural material, solid wood reacts to changes in climate and season or different 

levels of humidity or temperatures by warping, even after the wood has been treated. 

This natural phenomenon has been taken into consideration for the design and 

production of the solid wood range ELEA II: by using flush-closing fronts, expansion 

joints or shadow gaps. This allows the material to naturally expand without losing its 

clear shape.

ENCADO II 

Timeless design, flexible planning possibilities and exceptional personalisation are 

the key features of ENCADO II. Designed for living and dining areas, the range 

delivers a simplistic yet expressive look. 

ENCADO II combines a wide choice of single units with a modular side panel range. 

High material thicknesses on cornices and cover surfaces as well as selected wood 

and lacquer finishes perfectly underline the quality, elegance and sophistication of 

this range. 

Current product updates extend the planning possibilities incorporating formal, 

functional as well as colour aspects. EverGloss* ensures that cover surfaces, cornice 

and plinths are now also available in high-gloss surfaces – which now also include 

grey. Innovative brackets make it possible to wall-mount sideboards in different 

heights and widths. Horizontal sliding doors, which are perfect for storage and multi 

media solutions, as well as slim lowboards that can be fitted between side panels are 

further ENCADO II innovations. 

In order to ensure an even better integration into the dining area, all of the functional 

units such as crockery, cutlery or bottle inserts can also be used for ENCADO II. 

New, elegantly grey drawer frames highlight the quality of the range. 

*EverGloss is a pressure and scratch resistant, extremely tough surface sealing. 

SIMIA 

Combining lowboards, sideboards or suspended units randomly or in a continuous 

line gives this popular range its unmistakable look. The formal entity is emphasised 

by handle or finishing fillets that seamlessly flow into one another. These are now 

also available in white and brown-black, ensuring that new, monochrome 

architectures can be planned using SIMIA – for instance in combination with 

BlackMagic glass fronts, the highlight of the range. 

Unlit, BlackMagic glass looks opaque, like a high-gloss lacquered surface. When 

lit, the glass becomes transparent, making individual glass compartments become 

visible. Creating attractive effects, different lighting sequences or images can be 

programmed and retrieved by remote control. Manual operation is also possible.

HALLWAY 

hülsta single units and system ranges offer solutions for individual interior design 

demands. This also applies to small and to large combinations for corridors and 

hallways. Extending the existing living room ranges by specific hallway units ensures 

a perfect continuation of the style within the living environment – planning versatility 

included. The wide choice of finishes includes solid woods such as alder or walnut, 

numerous genuine wood veneers and lacquers. 

New for 2012 are additional hallway units of the solid wood ranges CARVA and 

ELEA II, which feature distinctive glass inserts on chests. The new hallways units 

include classic panels with mirrors, coat rack and hooks as well as a hat rack. 

NEO, the simplistic single unit range available in white, grey or cocoa lacquer as well 

as subtle wood accents, also offers hallway solutions. A particular highlight is the 

hallway cupboard with mirrored front in two widths in addition to different panels 

featuring storage, coat rack and back hooks. 

DINING 

D 2 

A free-swinging classic among modern seating furniture. The springy tubular steel 

design of the D 2 supports an upholstered, slightly curved seat. Soft yet crisp lines 

define the outline of the chair. EasyGlider functionality ensures that the angle of the 

backrest can be easily adjusted by shifting the body weight. 

hülsta has now upgraded one of the most popular chair models by introducing a new 

free-swinging frame: The rectangular flat tube design adds a new, contemporary twist 

to the D 2. There is a choice of two backrest heights as well as optional armrests – 

upholstered or as a metal support in an upholstered sleeve. 

D 24 

Free-swinging chairs are undoubtedly one of the most comfortable chair types. Their 

springy frame absorbs every body movement, swings and offers amazing seating 

comfort over many hours.

Distinctive features of the new D 24 are the dynamically shaped seat and the 

modern, rectangular free-swinging frame. A high or low backrest is the question of 

personal comfort. Leather upholstery and a high-gloss chrome frame construction 

give the free-swinging chair a cool look; textile upholstery in warm, subtle colours, 

optionally combined with a matt chrome frame, characterise its classic design. 

Upon request, the D 24 is available with covered armrests that match the upholstery. 

D 25 

D 25 is a solid bentwood chair with fluid lines, which strikes a perfect balance 

between natural and contemporary touches. 

A meticulously crafted bentwood seat with comfortable upholstery energetically 

merges into the backrest, which features a beautiful, elaborate Facetto design. 

Precious wood is cut into small fillets and then joined together: The result is an 

elegant, cross-striped image. 

Another interesting feature is the superimposed upholstery, which – depending upon 

high or low backrest – appears as a slim strip or a clearly contrasting area above the 

Facetto. The D 25 is optionally available with bentwood armrests. 

D 26 

An elegant chair, which is completely covered by Cuoietto leather. Slightly outward- 

pointing legs and a backrest tapering out at the top give the D 26 a dynamically 

elegant character. 

Eye-catching cross-seams highlight the leather upholstery, which is available in 16* 

classic earthy and bright colours. Beautiful detail: The seam colours are available 

tone-on-tone or in a contrasting colour. 

A further distinctive design feature is the upholstered armrest, which is optionally 

available. It is attached to the side of the seat and – leaning slightly outwards – 

perfectly underlines the dynamic look of the chair. 

There is a choice of two backrest heights. For lovers of pattern, the D 26 in a 

patchwork look is the perfect choice.

ET 1800 

A solid wood table that combines natural with contemporary aspects, durability with 

timeless design. The strong material thicknesses – particularly of the square table 

legs – and the beautifully dovetailed joints are not only eye-catching but also a sign 

of quality. 

The ET 1800 is available in a wide choice of widths and depths and as a fixed or 

extendable version. The mechanism allows a table extension by 60 cm on one end or 

by 120 cm on both ends. The extension leaf is hidden underneath the table top. The 

top is disengaged from a catch in order to enable access to the extension leaves – a 

60 cm extension leaf or a three-part, 120 cm folding leaf. 

Four solid wood types – alder, structured beech, natural oak and walnut – offer 

excellent combinations with the hülsta solid wood ranges CARVA and ELEA II. The 

table also works perfectly as a single unit with a simplistic or antique interior design 

scheme.

FJORA 

Uncompromising in its design, surprising in its versatility: A bedroom range for people 

who love uncomplicated schemes. 

FJORA offers simple planning with few units, focussing on a clear design with 

surprising details. The choice of colour contrasts in grey lacquer or natural oak plus 

white lacquer allows individual style statements. 

The FJORA bed is the focal point and main design feature. It is available with a 

classic flush headboard or with an extravagant version overhanging on both sides 

plus accent panel and superimposed open consoles. There are plenty of additional 

design possibilities around the bed, such as drawers with relief-planed fronts and 

automatic interior lighting, comfortable headboard cushions in three different leather

and fabric colours each plus different lighting units: dimmable ambient lighting in the 

headboard – optionally as a light fillet radiating forwards, upwards or to the side – 

and an innovative, swing-out reading light. Only energy-efficient LED technology is 

being used. 

Ancillary furniture includes freestanding consoles or chests in different widths and 

heights with spacious storage in drawers or behind doors, mirrors and attractive wall 

shelves with end angle. A relief-planed front, which is optionally available for a pre- 

defined drawer on different chests, adds interest to the look and feel of the range. 

The wardrobe system features the endless add-on principle, allowing individual 

planning using units with hinged doors in different widths, which can be optionally 

fitted with wood, lacquered or mirrored fronts. Adding a passe-partout will add colour 

contrasts and textured accents. Surface-mounted lighting, operated by remote 

control, is optionally available. There is a wide choice of functional hülsta wardrobe 

interiors such as drawers, tie-holders or linen shelves. 

In terms of colour concept, FJORA mainly focuses on white lacquer. Fronts on 

ancillary units and wardrobes as well as selected units are optionally available in 

elegant grey lacquer or comfortable natural oak. These finishes can be used for the 

passe-partout of the wardrobe, the distinctively angled legs of the bed, the 

headboard panel, the end angles of the wall shelves and for those ancillary unit 

fronts, which are available with relief-planed fronts. 

my SUITE home 

The new, luxurious hülsta box spring range offers ultimate sleeping comfort and a 

unique versatility. The my SUITE home range – “the hotel suite for my home“ – is 

divided into three areas: SUITE design, SUITE team and SUITE inside; they each 

cater for different formal requirements and effortlessly combine with existing hülsta 

bedroom ranges. 

Box spring in combination with innovative mattresses 

The box always features a high-quality 7-zone cylinder pocket spring core 

with medium firmness level and excellent point elasticity and air circulation. 

In addition to a fixed version, a 2-motor box spring is also available; this is 

operated via cable or remote control. Using maintenance-free motor technology, 

head and back section can be individually adjusted. The low-voltage technology is 

equipped with mains voltage cut-out, i.e. electricity only flows during adjustment.

The box is completely covered with furniture fabric (my SUITE inside with ticking, as 

this box is always used on inside), giving the product a striking look. The upper side 

is fitted with a material that prevents the mattress from sliding. 

Recommended mattresses are the high-quality hülsta pocket spring core mattresses 

TOP POINT 1000 and TOP POINT 4000 or the patented cold foam mattress 

AIR DREAM 7000, which all offer perfect body support. All of the mattress types 

feature excellent ergonomics and air circulation properties. They are covered with 

furniture fabric (optionally with ticking) matching the box, the lying surface is made of 

double cloth. 

hülsta also offers a so-called Topper for additional comfort. This is a soft 6-8 cm 

thick (depending upon cover), additional mattress, which provides extra comfort and 

is recommended for soft pressure relief. The Topper is fitted with a patented cold 

foam or visco core and available with three different covers: 

1. TENCEL = Climatic fibre surface upholstery 

2. PUROTEX = Surface upholstery made from washable pure new 

wool mixed with Ingeo fibres (vegetable-based) 

3. OUTLAST = With especially climatic, i.e. cooling spacer fabric 

Like all other hülsta mattresses, hülsta box spring is exclusively manufactured in 

company-own production sites in accordance with the highest quality standards. With 

my SUITE home, hülsta expressively underlines the quality and luxury of its box 

spring range. 

my SUITE design 

A luxurious box spring bed with distinctively rounded fronts, contrasting piping seams 

and eye-catching headboard solutions. my SUITE design is designed as a single unit 

and creates a convincingly elegant visual impact. 

The headboard is available in two design versions: 

Design A is a distinctive panel with smooth fabric, 15 cm thick and available in 99 

cm and 119 cm heights. It is available with a slight 5 cm overhang in relation to the 

box or – for the double bed – with a distinctive 25 cm wide overhang in 119 cm and 

147 cm heights. 

Design B features an eye-catching diamond style quilting, which perfectly 

underlines the comfort and sophistication of a box spring system. The panel is also 

15 cm thick, with a slight 5 cm overhang or – for the double bed – with a distinctive 

25 cm wide overhang in 119 cm and 147 cm heights.

Both headboards are suitable for wall-mounting, or they can be attached to the box. 

my SUITE design offers a choice of 40 fabric qualities and colours. 

The box repeats the concept of the headboards. Rounded fronts and elaborate piping 

seams characterise the design. 

As mentioned before, the box can optionally be combined with the micro cylinder 

pocket spring core mattress TOP POINT 4000 or the patented cold foam mattress 

AIR DREAM 7000. 

The my SUITE design range includes a fabric covered stool (53 cm x 50 cm x 45 

cm), which can be covered to match the box spring bed. A clear glass or grey Parsol 

glass cover surface is optionally available, turning the cube into a smart night 

console. 

my SUITE team 

The combination of different headboards allows the my SUITE team box spring to be 

used as a single unit or in connection with the hülsta bedroom ranges METIS plus, 

CUTARO, LA VELA II, ELUMO II and VENERO II. Exclusive to hülsta, the box 

spring comfort can therefore be perfectly integrated into a sophisticated bedroom 

design. The five ranges cover interior design styles ranging from classic to 

contemporary to trendy, thus reaching a large target group of box spring customers. 

A neutral, 100 cm high classically straight, upholstered headboard with a slightly 

rounded upper edge and smooth fabric perfectly rounds off the portfolio. 

With the exception of the neutral upholstered headboard, all of the headboards of the 

my SUITE team collection are suitable for wall-mounting or fixing to the box. 

There is a choice of 49 furniture fabrics in order to differentiate between box and top 

mattress. 

my SUITE inside 

my SUITE inside offers box spring comfort as a retrofit for existing beds and bedroom 

interiors. The insert box consists of a basic frame with a fixed upholstered mattress 

construction. The mattress is a special 7-zone micro cylinder pocket spring core 

mattress with excellent point-elastic body support and excellent air circulation. The 

complete box is covered in mattress ticking. 

my SUITE inside is available as a fixed version or as a 2-motor box spring, 

which is operated via cable or remote control. Using maintenance-free motor 

technology, head and back section can be individually adjusted. The low-voltage

technology is equipped with mains voltage cut-out, i.e. electricity only flows during 

adjustment. 

my SUITE inside can also be placed on separately delivered legs inside the bed 

frame. 

LEVEL FLEX II MOVE 

The innovative LEVEL FLEX II MOVE base frame combines flat motor technology, 

exclusively made for hülsta, with the highest requirements in terms of ergonomics, 

comfort and technical safety. 

Using three E-motors, six zones of the base frame can be individually adjusted via 5 

joints. For the first time, automatic lordosis support is possible even for flat back 

section adjustment (Reflux sleeping position). The back section is fitted with an 

individually adjustable head section. An automatic “knee bend” in the foot section 

relieves the intervertebral disc and perfectly supports the legs in a sitting or relaxing 

position. In a horizontal adjustment, it provides correct support for the calf. 

The LEVEL FLEX II MOVE offers a maximum adjustment spectrum using patented 

firmness adjusters (firmer, softer) as well as patented, highly flexible pocket end 

bearings with edge flexibility. This in combination with the large number of slim slats 

(25 mm) ensures that the base frame offers highly flexible and point-elastic body 

support. 

A standard base frame length of 200 cm features a total of 39 highest quality slats. 

The slat developed by hülsta is made from seven beech veneer layers, moisture- 

proof glued, sealed all-round and includes a reinforcement layer. This ensures long- 

term elasticity. A 12-year guarantee on all frame components as well as a 3-year 

guarantee on the drive technology underlines hülsta’s utter commitment to quality. 

Thanks to integrated bracket technology, the LEVEL FLEX II MOVE can be inserted 

in to any bed without requiring space underneath. The mechanics are completely 

covered by plastic; motors are separate and attached to each side. The frame can be 

operated using remote or cable control with 2-times memory and possible power 

supply for two further electric devices (e.g. bedside reading light). LEVEL FLEX II 

MOVE is fitted with a mains supply cut-out In the case of a power cut, the frame can 

be lowered manually. 

The base frame is GS-proven and certified with the “Blue Angel”.
