DPHM Package for PW500 Engines – Technical Description Sheet
Applicability: PW535B (Citation Encore+), PW535E (Embraer Phenom 300), PW545A (Citation
Excel), PW545B (Citation XLS) and PW545C (Citation XLS+) Engines
This technical description sheet describes the specific functionalities and components related to
Diagnostics, Prognostics and Health Management (“DPHM”) Package for the PW500 engine family.
The DPHM cable assembly is used to download and transfer diagnostic data and technical manuals to
perform the following flight line maintenance activities and diagnostic tasks:
Downloading of engine diagnostic data recorded by the engine controller
Downloading of engine condition trend monitoring data
Engine troubleshooting and fault isolation
Analyzing engine recorded data: fault, exceedance, snapshot and trace
The DPHM Package components are:

‣ Ground-Based Software included in Engine Maintenance Collection
Ground-Based Software contains GBS Transfer Module software and Diagnostic Module
(“GBSlite”) software.
Ground based software links directly to fault isolation chart in on-line Engine Maintenance
Manual (“EMM”).
On-line access via the P&WC Customer Portal to up-to-date Service Bulletins (“SB”),
Service Information Letters (SIL), Temporary Revisions (“TR”), Tool Service Bulletins, and
Spare Parts Bulletins.
Access to the Engine Maintenance Manual (“EMM”) and the Illustrated Parts Catalog
(“IPC”).

Diagnostic Module (“GBSlite”) software provides:
An Express Access panel for easy access to common
troubleshooting tasks and help instructions
Ability to review and diagnose recorded engine fault data,
exceedances, snapshots and events.
Ability to Link fault codes to maintenance actions suggested in
the Engine Maintenance Manual.
Analytic tools to view, plot and print engine data
Transfer module GBSTm allows for:
Downloading of engine diagnostic data
Viewing and changing engine parameters (e.g. trims,etc. )
Viewing and recording of engine Real-Time Display data
Maintenance Collection allows for:
On-line access via the P&WC customer Portal to up-to-date
Service Bulletins (“SB”), Service Information Letters (SIL),
Temporary Revisions (“TR”), Tool Service Bulletins, and Spare
Parts Bulletins.
