Kim Brundage Photography has been taking personalized
portraits since 2013. It’s one of my favorite forms of
photography—producing amazing imagery of beautiful
women just like you. Just think of how you will cherish

1 FIRST MEETING
Every session begins with an initial
phone or in-person consultation so we
can get to know one another. I love to
meet and talk about who you are and
how you want to be photographed. I
also encourage clients to use this time
for questions and ideas; and I love
to show you our beautiful products
in-person to give you a feel for the
final outcome of your session.
2 BOOK IT!
After the initial consultation, we’ll work
together to book your session date.
Think about what you want to do after
your portrait session – hot date with
your partner or a girl’s night out ...
Why not? You are already glammed up
and looking fabulous!
3 YOUR SESSION
On the day of your session, we’ll get
reacquainted and your hair (if you opt
for it) and makeup will be done by a
very talented stylist. After about 90
minutes having your hair and makeup
applied using high end products with
the focus on accentuating your beauty
— we’ll get right down to it. Just you,
me, and the camera. It’ll be awesome!
4 END RESULTS
After your portrait session, we’ll
post a few sneak peeks on Facebook.

the best 20 images. These images can

about a week before your Portrait
Review Session. You will be invited
back about 2 weeks after your session

Airbrush makeup

Airbrush makeup is also safeguarded
against something called “settling”.
Airbrush foundation will NOT settle
into any pores, wrinkles or scars
on your face which most regular
makeup will do. Because it is so
light, it will not crease either.
There is a HUGE difference in
“everyday makeup” and “cameraready
makeup”. The products our
MUA uses are specifically made
for the camera and camera-ready
faces. There is a lot of filters that the
camera can throw at your face and
airbrush makeup can show through
those filters.

WHAT IS POST
PRODUCTION?
“Post-production” is an artistic processing
of the photographs after your photo
shoot. We do minimal retouching, but
if necessary we are able to remove
blemishes, smooth skin, reduce wrinkles,
add toning and glow, and enhance your
natural features. Each image delivered
to you will include some retouching
process. Any prints and larger print
products you may order will, if necessary,
include a second round of retouching
to make your images look absolutely
incredible.
DRESS FOR
SUCCESS
Although we love to make you look
your absolute best, we are unable to
accommodate requests for reducing
waist sizes or adding/removing major
features. We encourage our clients to
wear outfits that flatter your best parts
and hide those you may not love so
much—and are happy to provide our
advice and experience on what to wear
before the session! Just text Kim some
outfit ideas at 804-921-2046.
Suggested clothing: Clothing should
be plain and simple—“subtle” patterns
or stripes, no bold designs or anything
that distracts from your face. V-necklines
are flattering. Deep rich tones such as
navy, dark forest green, deep maroon,
burgundy, black or charcoal with subtle
accents of jewelry.

Authentic
Beautiful
Playful
You might think I’m crazy or maybe you can relate to this. My husband thinks I am
beautiful and so do my friends. But what do I REALLY think? I didn’t share the same
opinion of my body (not even close) and I wanted to see myself through their eyes.
I could blame key people from my younger years and society (Hollywood standards,
Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issues, etc.) but I’ve come to realize that critical voice in my
head was really my own and I was wasting a lot of energy making disparaging remarks
every time I looked in the mirror. I had been studying different poses and lighting
and decided to put myself in front of the camera because like most women, I didn’t
like pictures of myself. I thought I was going to delete all the images I took of myself
and finally saw the beautiful woman that my husband sees every time he looks at me.
I finally learned how to capture the best version of myself and that is what I want to
share with you. Besides, we all want a fabulous portrait of ourselves, right? We can
share that with our friends and family and for generations to come. When was the last
time you had a great portrait taken of yourself?
Kim Brundage Photography started in 2011. Previously, Kim obtained her Master
in Public Health and worked 20 years in the health care sector. She then changed
industries and worked at Capital One where she re-certified her Black Belt in Six Sigma
and obtained her Lean certification. Kim is married to the Love of her Life, Jeff and she
has a wonderful, kind-hearted teenage son. When not shooting, you will find Kim and
Jeff biking, traveling and gardening together.
