T X 6 3 5 1 . 0 2 e T X 6 3 5 2 . 0 2 e SENTRO GAS SENSOR/TRANSMITTER SENTRO eModule ATEX GROUP II 2G INCREASED SAFETY FLAMMABLE GASES • POISON RESISTANT CATALYTIC SENSOR SENTRO eModule utilising a poison resistant catalytic combustion sensor to monitor flammable gases present in the atmosphere. The sensor will respond to most flammable gases and vapours to varying degrees; it is normally calibrated to methane in terms of %LEL or %volume. Very good sensitivity at low levels of concentration but not suitable for use above the LEL level. Calibration for other flammable gases can also be provided. The relatively large mass of the sensing element assures a long and reliable operating life with exceptional stability, even in conditions of high vibration. The natural life of the sensor is about five years depending upon the monitoring conditions and the module can be quickly replaced and serviced at the end of its operating life. TX6350.240 Methane 0...100% LEL Can also be calibrated for other flammable gases to specification eg. LPG, Propane, Butane, etc. SENTRO eModule CARBON DIOXIDE/ METHANE GASES • INFRARED SENSOR SENTRO eModules with an infrared sensor are used for monitoring environmental concentrations of either carbon dioxide or methane gases. This sensor is highly specific to the selected gas and exhibits consistent sensing accuracy with superior long term stability; so minimising calibration and maintenance. The essentially linear response and high sensitivity of the sensor means that it can be calibrated equally well for low gas concentrations and high concentrations up to 100% by volume. Module parameters can also be setup to individual requirements when requested. Scaling, duty text and setpoint alarm values are pre-programmed. 4 /9 ISSUE B 10/08
