Who We Are
Every great story starts with a vision. For HighTower’s founders, that vision was to disrupt
the bland, mass-produced contract furniture market with fresh and finely crafted products
intuitive to the needs of a new, more connected and creative user. With the release of their
first collection in 2003, Scott, Natalie and Rachel knew they were on to something special.
Today, HighTower’s modern collection of products - imagined by a global community of
break-out designers - draws people in, awakens the senses, welcomes collaboration and
inspires creativity. While a lot has changed, we’ve held onto that “something special” that
helped us realize our goal more than 10 years ago: A fearless dedication to fresh products
that put people’s needs first.
Why HighTower for Higher Education
HighTower’s unique and flexible collection of functional and durable modern furnishings
allow colleges and universities to create spaces that inspire, evolve and endure - helping
you meet your strategic goals, whether that is attracting quality students, enhancing the
university’s brand or cultivating socialization and collaboration across campus.
Just as the workspace has evolved to become more flexible and collaborative, so has the
classroom. Today’s students are hands-on and want to be inspired and challenged. Their
physical surroundings play a big role in their engagement in both learning and social settings.
And thanks to technology, today’s connected student can learn anywhere - at any time.
