Twin Bridge / Middle Inlet
If you’re interested in nature and wildlife, this area of Marinette County needs to
be a part of your trip. With an abundance of plant and animal life and well-preserved
woodland habitats, this becomes a truly beautiful place to be. There are a number
of trails allowing access to hikers, skiers, and snowshoers alike. The Twin
Bridge/Middle Inlet area is home to both Governor Thompson State Park and the
Peshtigo River State Forest. The High Falls Flowage runs through this part of
Marinette County. The scenery along the river’s shoreline is simply spectacular. Many
islands sprinkled throughout the flowage are suitable for fishing, camping and are
only accessible by canoe, kayak or other boats.
Middle Inlet is located just north of the village and northwest of Lake Noquebay
where Hwy 141 intersects with County Highway X.
