Heart of <strong>Gold</strong><br />

Heart of <strong>Gold</strong> is the core program of <strong>Gold</strong> <strong>Club</strong><br />

and provides a general all-round workout to<br />

keep you moving and improve your cardio<br />

health and flexibility.<br />

Small Group Strength Training<br />

This program takes place in the weight room<br />

where one of <strong>Dovercourt</strong>’s Certified Personal<br />

Trainers will create an individualized workout<br />

designed for your fitness needs. During<br />

the class, you will perform your routine while<br />

the trainer circulates and gives assistance.<br />

The small class size allows for lots of personal<br />

attention.<br />

<strong>Gold</strong> Aquafit<br />

Experience the weightlessness of water while<br />

you improve your fitness in <strong>Dovercourt</strong>’s heated<br />

pool. Aquafitness is great for older adults with<br />

joint issues such as arthritis or hip and knee<br />

replacements. Why not relax and socialize in the<br />

hot tub and sauna after your class?<br />

Strong Spines<br />

This class was created to address common<br />

problem areas in older adults. Using a variety of<br />

exercises that focus on form and proper body<br />

alignment, you will build support for the spine<br />

and strengthen your core and commonly injured<br />

areas like the shoulders, hips and low back.<br />

<strong>Gold</strong> Yoga<br />

Yoga is an ancient practice to strengthen the<br />

body, improve flexibility and integrate mind,<br />

body and spirit. Slow down and take a moment<br />

to breathe and enjoy the moment. Mats are<br />

provided but participants are welcome to<br />

bring their own.<br />
