They are, I suppose, the issue concerning the facsimile. MR HAMMOND: Yes. COMMISSIONER: What else? MR HAMMOND: He's made statements about Mr Ando's competency but they've generally been favourable. COMMISSIONER: Yes. MR HAMMOND: He's made statements to the effect about the breakdown in the relationship between himself and Mr Ando. COMMISSIONER: Yes. MR HAMMOND: He's made statements more pertinently about the fact that he was utilised as an investigator of Mr Ando. I would have thought upon that basis alone I'd be entitled to call into question the validity of that appointment, particularly bearing in mind the relationship that existed between the two men, which seemed to oscillate between good and bad, and he can't just be, in my respectfully submission, a one-way street where Mr Ando's reputation is attacked, particularly bearing - - in the context of the fact that this man is a relatively junior officer at CALM.
