Designed to be stored in small places, the Model 42 Stair Chair functions well in 

confined areas such as narrow hallways and multiple-landing stairways. Four lifting 

handles with nonslip handgrips enable EMTs to move the patient safely and easily. 

Soft vinyl-coated cover is simple and easy to clean, resists blood, stains and bodily 

fluids. Locking safety latch maintains Model 42 in the chair position during use.

Each Ferno Defibrillator Mount is easily installed onto a countertop or bench and 

features a quick release mechanism that allows for easy locking and unlocking of 

a defibrillator for grab-and-go convenience on scene. A swivel base provides easy

Ferno’s Scoop EXL Stretcher provides superior comfort and safety to patients 

who need spinal immobilization. The Scoop EXL eliminates the need for log-roll 

maneuvers, which significantly decreases movement to the cervical spine. Two 

hinged, interlocking pieces allow operators to bring the two halves together 

beneath the patient and gently scoop them up. Made from X-ray translucent,

The Ferno Model 71 Basket Stretcher is made with a high-density polyethylene 

shell supported by a permanently attached, heavy-duty, aluminum frame. 

Molded-in runners and handholds make it easy to handle, and brass grommets 

are strategically located for quick use with Model 418-1 Adjustable Lifting Bridle 

(tag lines should always be used when lifting the basket stretcher). The shell is 

chemical, UV, rust, and corrosion resistant and a replaceable closed-cell foam pad 

is attached inside the stretcher for patient comfort. Four two-piece 5’ quick-release 

patient restraints are simple to use and permit the rescuers to easily change the 

position of the straps to fit each patient.

The Gazelle Series Stretchers are a basic rescue stretcher designed to be used 

in raise/lower operations. Features all-carbon-steel with MIG welded, 19mm

strength. Replaceable Durathene netting will not corrode and provides safety and

Traverse ® Rescue Stretcher (TRS) 

Designed and constructed for both horizontal and vertical casualty evacuations. 

The lightweight and compact roll-up design makes this stretcher ideal for high 

angle and confined space rescue, as well as backcountry wilderness and helicopter 

operations. The wrap-around concept gives the patient a feeling of security and 

protects arms and sides from further injury during evacuation procedures. 


• Constructed using an inner layer made from a tough high-density 

polyethylene sheet, which give the stretcher its rigidity when curved around 

the patient 

• Outer fabric shell is made using two different materials. The base fabric 

is a 1350 Denier Cordura nylon with a heavy PU coating, which has been 

specially woven to be as tough as possible to resist abrasion and cuts. The 

top layer is 1000 Denier Cordura 

• Carry handles and vertical lift attachment points are construct from 2” 

webbing and are designed as structural attachment points for a lifting bridle 

• Plastic tubing on the carry handle makes for a much more comfortable carry 

for rescuers 

• Built-in color-coded full body adjustable harness restrains the patient
