THE IDEA
Every human being needs and
wears shoes and there are already
various forms and styles.
The character of a person can
also be guessed from the type
of shoe s/he is wearing – shoes
make the man/woman. Especially
in the Hip Hop scene the designer
is living in shoes are shoes
the dancers’ virtual tool. So why
shouldn’t there be created a new
status symbol in the form of individual
shoes?
Graffiti as an art form is a constant
element in hip-hop culture;
unfortunately, nowadays it is often
qualified as “willful damage to
property”.
Originally, Graffiti was used as a
form of communication between
several crews in various citys.
The Crews were sending messages
to each other by coloring
trains; these trains went from city
to city, taking the message to the
crews.
There have never been any violent
“gang wars” as it is often stated.
The crews competed by creating
pieces of art and the best
crew received the most respect
and recognition. If you combine
graffiti and the fashion world of
today in form of shoes, a never
seen trend is created.
