By Marie Martin The Graduate School of Education is pleased to announce the upcoming arrival of our new Director of Development, Launa Wilson. Launa is a Los Angeles native who has most recently been working at University of Nevada, Las Vegas as Director of Development for the Greenspun College of Urban Affairs. She has a strong record of fundraising and has spent the last several years building a college-based giving program from the ground up. She also has a proven history in procuring major gifts and working with corporate foundations. In addition to her skills as a develment officer, Launa is also completing a Doctorate in Public Affairs at UNLV. Launa looks forward to meeting each one of you and is very interested in getting to know the faculty and their research agenda in order to bring the GSOE the funding necessary to make our programs shine on the national level. We know that Launa will be a huge asset to the GSOE and we are happy to have her on board. Launa Wilson Director of Development Scott Lowder Technical Assistant By Marie Martin There are many exciting changes taking place in IT. The GSOE was excited to welcome (back) Scott Lowder to the IT team in November. Scott worked previously with the Copernicus project and has returned to support Robert as a Technical Assistant. Scott always has a friendly face and is happy to help you with all your IT needs. Scott will soon be moving into the main office suite in order to provide maximum support to faculty and staff.
