Once verified, check <strong>the</strong> Verifiedbut<strong>to</strong>n at <strong>the</strong> bot<strong>to</strong>m <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> page. Under Primary Contact, complete <strong>and</strong>/or update <strong>the</strong>secondary phone <strong>and</strong> email addresses. The Progress Method defaults <strong>to</strong> Use PrecinctsReporting. The system will au<strong>to</strong>matically calculate <strong>the</strong> percentage <strong>of</strong> precincts reporting. Ifyour county runs absentee ballots <strong>and</strong> early voting first, <strong>and</strong> your file shows All PrecinctsReporting, you will need <strong>to</strong> change this <strong>to</strong> Estimate Percentage Completed <strong>and</strong> manuallyinsert <strong>the</strong> percentage reporting figure on <strong>the</strong> Update Election Page.Step 2: Upload Results File for Race <strong>and</strong> C<strong>and</strong>idate MappingUpload your mapping file by first browsing for <strong>the</strong> location <strong>of</strong> your file. Supervisor <strong>of</strong> <strong>Elections</strong>’ <strong>Guide</strong> <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Division</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Elections</strong> -<strong>Reports</strong>, <strong>Downloads</strong>, <strong>and</strong> <strong>Uploads</strong>If more than one record matches, <strong>the</strong> Error column will indicate this. Edit any errors <strong>and</strong>recheck <strong>to</strong> ensure <strong>the</strong> problem was fixed. If <strong>the</strong> race is not mapped, errors will not show <strong>and</strong>this will need <strong>to</strong> be corrected. If you receive a (2) error, this means <strong>the</strong> c<strong>and</strong>idate is also mapped somewhere else with anerror. Correct <strong>the</strong> error where it originally occurs (usually where it is mapped <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> incorrectperson). The (2) error code should now clear at both mapping locations.Verify all information <strong>and</strong> check <strong>the</strong> Verified but<strong>to</strong>n at <strong>the</strong> bot<strong>to</strong>m <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> mapping page.Step 3: Upload Results File <strong>to</strong> Test MappingYou must upload a file with results <strong>to</strong> verify that you have mapped <strong>the</strong> file correctly.
