WYOMING INDUSTRY REPRESENTATIVE INFORMATION12-2-203. Manufacturing and rectifying; importing and <strong>industry</strong> <strong>representative</strong>s; licensing;fees.(b) The <strong>Wyoming</strong> liquor division shall grant a class A <strong>industry</strong> <strong>representative</strong> license foralcoholic liquor suppliers to a qualified individual domiciled within this state who submits anapplication to the division on forms provided by the division accompanied by an annual license fee ofnot to exceed seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00). A class A <strong>industry</strong> <strong>representative</strong> shall have awritten statement from any vendor whose products the applicant proposes to represent. The class A<strong>industry</strong> <strong>representative</strong> shall be published in the division's price catalog with the products from anyvendor represented by him and shall be authorized to request that the division list or delist productsfrom the vendor represented by him.(c) The division shall grant a class B <strong>industry</strong> <strong>representative</strong> license for alcohol liquor suppliersto a qualified individual domiciled within this state who submits an application to the division onforms provided by the division accompanied by an annual license fee of not to exceed two hundredfifty dollars ($250.00). A class B <strong>industry</strong> <strong>representative</strong> shall be employed or managed by a class A<strong>industry</strong> <strong>representative</strong>. A class B <strong>industry</strong> <strong>representative</strong> shall have a written statement from the classA <strong>industry</strong> <strong>representative</strong> designating any vendor whose products he is authorized to represent.(d) The division shall grant a class C temporary special event <strong>industry</strong> <strong>representative</strong> license toany individual twenty-one (21) years of age or older who submits an application on a form supplied bythe division for a fee of not to exceed fifty dollars ($50.00) per event.(e)No class A <strong>industry</strong> <strong>representative</strong> shall be employed by a licensee as defined by W.S.12-1-101(a)(viii).<strong>Wyoming</strong> Department of Revenue, <strong>Liquor</strong> Division Methodology (Rules)Section 8. Representative Licenses and Standards of Business.(b.) License Fee. The fee for a class A, class B, or class C <strong>representative</strong>'s license, as set by thedivision, shall be payable at the time of application to the <strong>Liquor</strong> Division, at 1520 East 5th Street,Cheyenne, <strong>Wyoming</strong> 82002.(c.) Duration of License. A <strong>representative</strong>'s license shall be a personal privilege, good for one (1) yearunless sooner suspended or revoked. All licenses shall WYOMING DEPARTMENT OF REVENUEexpire on June 30 of each year. All applications for renewal of licenses and license fees shall be filedwith the Division forty- five (45) days prior to the date of expiration.(d.) Verification of Employment. Application for a class A <strong>representative</strong> license shall be accompaniedby a written statement from the vendor(s) whose products the applicant proposes to represent. Thevendor's statement shall verify the applicant's employment or contractual arrangement, and shallcontain a request that the applicant be licensed to represent its particular brand or brands in <strong>Wyoming</strong>.Application for a class B <strong>representative</strong> license shall be accompanied by a written statement from aclass A <strong>representative</strong>. The statement from the class A <strong>representative</strong> shall verify the applicant’semployment or contractual arrangement, and shall contain a request that the applicant be licensed torepresent products represented by the class A <strong>representative</strong>. Application for a class C <strong>representative</strong>license shall be accompanied by a written statement from a class A <strong>representative</strong> indicating the eventfor which the class C <strong>representative</strong> shall be licensed.


(e.) Privileges of Licensed Representatives. Class A <strong>representative</strong> shall be responsible for thepresentation of products, to the division, for listing and delisting per policies established by thedivision. Properly licensed class A or class B <strong>representative</strong>s may advertise and promote the sale ofvendors' products and shall be permitted to call upon liquor licensees to insure product identification,advance notice of new listings, delistings, product changes, and other pertinent <strong>information</strong>. Licensed<strong>representative</strong>s shall not be permitted to place liquor orders from retail licensees with the Division.(f.) Representation. All vendors shall notify the Division, in writing, upon the employment ortermination of any class A <strong>representative</strong> promoting the sale of its products within <strong>Wyoming</strong>. A<strong>representative</strong> may represent more than one company. All class A <strong>representative</strong>s shall notify thedivision, in writing, upon the employment or termination of any class B <strong>representative</strong>s promoting thesale of assigned products within <strong>Wyoming</strong>.
