Beef carcass grading in the slaughter line VBS20001. technical requirements- installed at the end of the slaughter line- 1,4m rail space and min. 3m distance camera to carcass- visual inspection of the outside carcass side- stop and go in Europe with up to 120 head/hour- continues version for North/South America up to 400 head/hour- linked to hot scale or IT system to get the hot carcass weight2. measurements- lengths, angles, areas, volums, colors, texture3. predictions and system outputs- conformation class EUROP with +/- 15 class system- fat class 12345 with +/- 15 class system- primal weights and carcass yield- color and defects

Beef carcass grading in the cooler VBG20001. technical requirements- carcasses chilled in the cooler- ribbing cut between the 12th/13th rib- 1m rail space for camera operator- visuall inspection of rib eye surface from both carcass sides- speed up to 450 carcasses/900 sides per hour- linked to hot scale or IT system to get the hot carcass weight2. measurements- rib eye area/dimensions, fat thickness, marbling, color3. predictions and system outputs- rib eye area- preliminary yield grade = fat thickness- final yield grade 1, 2, 3, 4, 5- quality grade standard, select, choice, prime- color and defects
