For all industry sectors,in which secure processing, flexibility and rapid production incable converting is demanded, the Metzner AM 2000 offers astandard of equipment which is unique in its price class.Processing of cable and wire is done with speed and precision. Theoperator carries out all the cut-to-length and stripping operations via themachine control system with just a few settings. Alongside the high-performance cut-to-length and insulationequipment, the machines offer particular advantages for the processing of sensorleads with PU insulators.With outputs of up to 4,000 processed cables per hour, the AM 4000 machines are the fastestin the Metzner cable processing range. This speed is achieved by special processing technology,whereby the cut-to-length as well as the stripping of the cable ends and starts are all performedin one working cycle (see page 14). Ink-Jet printingis a comparatively economical process, but the print quality is not ashigh as thermal transfer printing or hot stamp marker.
