These are fixed using approved fasteners in the support structure of the old roofing. By applying additional thermal insulation to theexisting roof sealing,improvement of the U-Values and the acoustic performance can be achieved at the same time.At first the existing gravel pack gets removed in most cases. Subsequently follows a careful check of the roof sealing. This check is preparedaccording to the structural-physical calculations of DIN 4108 for the particular project (e. g. to cut out existing bubbles, perforationsetc.).Then the lightweight steel framework is fixed on the existing rigid insulation and roof sealing. Special anchoring troughs are used as anfoundation, into which columns are fixed in and bolted down. The columns then get spanned by roof purlins, on which the Kalzip E-clipsare fixed. The stiffening of the system is achieved by hat profiles, which are installed after the clip-installation from eaves to the ridge. Thenthe Kalzip profiled sheet is installed and zipped together.The structural analysis, preparation of construction plans and piece lists will be provided by Kalzip GmbH.Price on request34
