<strong>The</strong> <strong>purpose</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>this</strong> questionnaire is to provide us with an initial view <strong>of</strong> an<br />
individual country’s plans and progress towards the implementation <strong>of</strong><br />
formalities, logistics, national and/or regional single windows. It is not technical<br />
in nature and any results will be used to illustrate what still needs to be done<br />
based on best practises from other countries and recent developments. <strong>The</strong><br />
questionnaire is quite brief. It asks for reference and documents as much as<br />
possible, so that personal interviews might be arranged where appropriate.<br />
Please feel free to write any additional comments, as for clarifications or<br />
questions as you see fit. We would also much appreciate you passing on copies<br />
<strong>of</strong> these documents and questionnaires to your colleagues in other organisations<br />
and countries in order that we can achieve a well rounded and comprehensive<br />
