President’s Corner by Murray CoganDear FCA Members:The year is moving along quickly. We are now in Februaryand we have already had two events. The first was an InformalDriving Event hosted by Jim Bindman. Eleven members andtheir Copilots met at Jim and Ritas house for coffee and donuts.Following the social gathering, we all followed Jim up theAngeles Crest Highway and then back again to the Tam O’Shanter for an enjoyable lunch. The next event was a Technical Session held at the AutoGallery. We are most grateful to Harry Gray and Tony Schwartzfor providing the services of their highly trained technicians andthe use of their facilities. All of our members who attendedreceived a free comprehensive technical inspection and a detailedreport. In April, thanks to the efforts of our club member DougPrestine, our next event is an upscale weekend with gourmetdining and fine wines (see the ad in Sempre Ferrari).May is the month of our much anticipated ConcorsoFerrari in Century City with full weekend of festivities planned. On Saturday, May 28th, we are planning a driving tour toParamount Ranch with our concours on Sunday. We look forwardto this event being as successful as in 2002.A large turnout of our members will be the planning committeesreward. So come on out and show them how much youappreciate their efforts.Yours truly,Murray CoganPresidentFerrari Club of America, Southwest RegionJOIN THE FCA SOUTHWEST REGION FOR A VERY SPECIAL WEEKENDPARAMOUNT RANCH DRIVING TOURSATURDAY, MAY 28, 2005Experience the Wild West The Paramount Pictures “movie ranch” is where numerouswestern movies and television series have been filmed.
