EVENT REMINDERSTHE FINE PRINTVernon HillsFinal Guest CountA final confirmation of the guaranteed number of guests isrequired by 5:00 PM, seven (7) business days prior to the event.This number will be considered final and charges will be madeaccordingly. Otherwise, the guarantee listed on your contractwill be considered the final count.Service ChargeA twenty percent (20%) Service Charge will be added to allrental, food & beverage charges. All Food & Beverage Packagesare subject to Illinois Sales Tax of 7%.DepositsAn initial twenty-five percent (25%) deposit is due inorder to confirm your event more than one year in advance.One year prior to your event, an additional twenty-fivepercent (25%) deposit is required. Final payment is due withthe final guest count.CancellationsIf a cancellation occurs more than thirty (30) days priorto the scheduled event date, any deposits made shall benonrefundable, forfeited in full and the Contract shallbecome null and void. If a cancellation occurs within 30 daysof the scheduled event date, any deposits made shall benonrefundable, forfeited in full and the full Contract amountshown shall become immediately due. WhirlyBall will notbe held liable for event cancellations due to acts of nature,terrorism, power interruption or any other circumstancebeyond WhirlyBall’s control. Liquidated damages are limitedto deposits received by WhirlyBall from the Customer.Terms of PaymentsWhirlyBall accepts all major credit cards for finalpayment. If a credit card is being used for final payment,the cardholder must be present with the credit card,unless alternative arrangements have been made. Youmay also make your payment on our secure server atwww.whirlyball.com.ParkingComplimentary parking is available in the lot immediately tothe East of the WhirlyBall Vernon Hills Center as well as to theSouth. Valet Parking available upon request.Minimum GuaranteePrivate events are subject to food and beverage minimums basedon the required event space and are available upon request.Audio/VisualWhirlyBall is happy to provide audio-visual supportfor your function. Our High Definition Screens and FlatScreens are available to show your Montage, Live feedor Logo during your event at no additional charge.Stage Setup for Band/DJSetup of the Staging area for your entertainment whichincludes rearrangement of tables to clear the area for a dancefloor and in-house surround sound support is complimentarywhen the minimum food and beverage guarantee is satisfied.Event LightingIntelligent lighting system which can by synchronized to yourmusic is included with your event.Miscellaneous ChargesGuests are required to secure management’s approval beforebringing in any outside food and/or beverage.
