Ventus bT MAINTENANCE MANUAL
2.2.2 Fuel system
For refuelling the tank has to be removed from the fuselage by
disengaging the spring-loaded lock(s), removing the quick-connector
of the fuel line and disconnecting the vent line. Then a looped blind
plug is connected to the tank vent to prevent fuel escaping through
the vent hole. The fuel tank outlet has two built-in fuel finders also
acting as filters.
Fuel is supplied to the engine from the fuselage tank via its quick
connector to the shut off valve and via the diaphragm
pump to the carburetors.
Fuel contents are read off directly from the transparent
GFRP-tank.
See fuel system, page 47.
2.3 Electrical System
2.3.1 Gliding Instrumentation
For the prescribed minimum equipment no power supply is
required.
Additional electrical instruments are connected with a power supply
according the “wiring diagram for gliding instrumentation” page 41,
and in correspondence with the manufacturer’s instructions for the
individual instruments.
On request a separate master switch for the gliding instrumentation
is provided, but standard is only a single master switch combining
gliding instrumentation and engine control box according to section
